Imagined scenario:
Morpheus shows his boy some memories he has with Alyssa:
"Here, litte Mothchild of ours I brought your mom on our first date.
And later we went so I can show her my brand new car."
Memory shows them on backseat. Morph can't stop it and growa frustrated:
"UMMM...AND HERE YOUR MOTHER DROPPED SOMETHING...AND...I...HAD TO HELP HER GET IT...BY HOLDING HER LEGS..."

I kind of think I know what they'd wish for, but I don't wanna say because I was half-planning to write something out of that.
Okay, today as I was painting (I'm sorry) I had an idea. So Natalia (who we all know is a genius) had that (genius) theory on netherling children. I can't find the post, but generally she said they're rare. Close enough to the actual awesome wall of text XD
So here's my part B to the theory.
A. Natalia- Netherling children are rare.
B. Me-Netherling children are impossible to have. Notice how most characters are, in fact, the original Carroll telling, with a slight (or not-so-slight) difference.
So why not wish for one? This wasn't my theory on what they'd wish for before, but seriously. It kind of sounds like something Morph would want. It also sounds like something Alyssa would have no problem with. So maybe that's how they'd end up with a child while nobody else in Wonderland seems to have had any. Or at least few xD

I tend to think so. But we also have Ivory who said that Netherling children are not like human children. So there are children somewhere.

I think there's bound to be some interesting twist when it comes to netherling children; something very "dark spin-off of Wonderland" and "AG Howard" that none of us will be able to think up, but once we read it, will all end up going 'oh!'. Because it will make (perfect, awesome, amazing, super-cool) sense.Maybe some sort of personal sacrifice will have to be made, maybe a series of tests so only those worthy enough may have children.
I just can't possibly wait any longer for Ensnared.
Speaking of ensnared...Maybe the titles tell us something?
Splintered was quite obvious; splintered mirrors, splintered soul, splintered life. Unhinged, I'd like to think, show Alyssa being...unhinged. Her worlds have been turned upside down. We see her in a mental hospital. Ensnared, I feel, is either Alyssa being ensnared in Wonderland for good, enraptured and finally seeing how impossible for her it is to leave...
I just can't shake the feeling it has to do with Jeb, though. *notes cover* And "ensnared" doesn't exactly sound wholly pleasant...

I think the title "Ensnared" has to do with both Alyssa (who will be ensnared in Wonderland for life) and Jeb (who is already ensnared in Wonderland and will suffer its effects). But Jeb won't stay. He hates Wonderland and he will go home.

I like this. If Jeb doesn't end up with Alyssa, this is the exact kind of thing I would want for them. Regardless of whether or not he's with Alyssa, I kinda want that for Jeb, because you has a dream, and I'd like for him to be able to achieve it.

Well, I could see part of the reason of her being with him is because she knows he needs her. She also sees him as appealing to her human side and seems to rely on him for steadiness sometimes.

I really believe that Alyssa will end up with Morpheus simply because like calls to like, and her entire existence in the human realm would feel unfulfilled knowing all she could have done and would have done as the queen of wonderland. Jeb will move on and continue his life, there is story still left in him. Morpheus has nothing if not Alyssa
I'm fairly sure this group has mutually gathered up all the possible reasons--or at least most of them--that logically ( and ridiculously c; ) show who Alyssa is likely to end up with. And I'm pretty sure 90% say Morpheus. I know I do c; Here's some more reasoning why:1. Morpheus is 'matured' in the sense that he knows what he wants and what is good for him.
2. Alyssa is 'matured' in the sense that she has seen more than so, so many people her age. She knows that Wonderland is a part of her--a permanent part that she has come to accept. Currently, she's struggling with who is right for her.
3. Jeb is not matured in either of these ways; in all points, he's still just a teenage boy. A brave one, a strong one, a kind one. One with morals so good and true it's a flaw. But, he's still figuring out what he wants. He's more human than anything.
I don't doubt Jeb loves Alyssa; I just don't think she's right for him. She's tied to a world he will never be able to understand, even if she didn't stay there. Jeb has a world of his own that he is content with. He needs to explore that world. He needs to live his life in his world, and Alyssa is just on a different level than he is. Not saying she's better than he is; they're just on different planes.
I was going somewhere with this...did I cover all that I meant to cover? I can't tell. Where are all the mind readers here.
Morpheus and Alyssa may not know everything, but I feel that what they know, they know for certain. I think Alyssa is so torn between Jeb and Morpheus isn't because she's really torn, it's because she knows it will be so hard to let go of someone like Jeb, whom she does love, just not in the entirety of all the same ways that she loves Morpheus. It's only fair to Jeb that she makes her thoughts clear.
Did that make sense? Oh goodness.
There's always the fact that if Alyssa left Morpheus, the poor netherling would shrivel and fade and die. I don't doubt that; I can't.
Jeb would move on. It would be hard and terrible and one of the biggest struggles he'd have faced so far, but he WOULD move on.

There's no one else for him. And his actions speak that he loves her deeply, and I'm going to be heartbroken with him if Ally doesn't choose him

@Rebejah Yep. And this isn't to say that she should make her decision to appease someone; she needs to do it for her, of course. It's just that I think Morpheus knows what she wants, truly, and Alyssa does as well. It's just not the 'status quot' and she's nervous and scared and uncertain. And I'd hate to see her make the wrong choice because she's afraid.
Alyssa will live her life with an amount of regret if she doesn't choose Wonderland D;

I have to say, though this might not be the right spot for it, that I'm so happy to have found another of the few YA novels that have a strong female lead. A strong female lead that isn't annoying.
