Both Luke and Valentina are doing a lot of self reflection as they consider the next courses for their lives. Do you think their both being in the same type of inquiry made them more or less open to deepening their relationship? Your opinions of their romance?

They were both at a crossroads in their lives. Luke, he almost died. Val, her husband lied to her and wasn't the forever love she wanted. Yeah, they each were searching for . . . something. Luke was already in "lust" with her. She needed a champion. They both needed each other. I loved their romance.

They were both in a place of second guessing their abilities, he because of his new fears and she for being able to adequately judge and trust a person's sincerity. That openness had to have left them vulnerable to each other. Like you, Anita, I loved their romance.
