Luke gets an "itch" right before something out of the ordinary is about to happen. Is this a sixth sense, sort of like a change in the aura of the environment? Do you believe this kind of phenomenon happens to people?

Yes, I believe it's real. Animals have it, why not people. People in dangerous professions don't stay alive long if they ignore the "itch".

One of our sons, while he was in college, was driving on a curvy road and had the sudden sense he needed caution (amazing for a late teen!) Immediately after, a deer appeared in the road in front of his car. Thankfully, he avoided what could have been a disaster.

As a Christian, I think these kinds of itches can be instinctual, or sometimes a protective nudge from the Holy Spirit.

I agree with both of you. These instincts or divine protections are real in my mind. I've had my own experiences, enough to believe in them.

I believe that there are rare people who have extra senses or can use parts of their brain that the rest of us can't seem to use. Some people can sense things when others can't.
