This one is easy...Killers of the Flower Moon. I am still thinking about that book and telling everyone who will listen about it!

I actually had some five stars this challenge.

A Closed and Common Orbit, Becky Chambers. The sequel to The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet. It took the world of that book and developed in further.

Tom's Midnight Garden, Philippa Pearce. I remembered the TV show from sometime in the early-70s, but I'd never read the book. I ended up loving it.

His Majesty's Dragon, Naomi Novik. Combines fantasy/dragons and the Napoleonic wars, and yet it worked.

I read a lot of good books but two that made the most impression are
If I Should Die Before I Wake - I have had this on my Kindle for years and put off reading it time and time again, IN a coma a young girl who hated and mocked the Jews becomes one herself. My review is here https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Between the World and Me this is a short but powerful book that should become required reading in schools. Maybe it is reading and understanding a book like this that will change prejudice and racial discrimination for good. I had almost 40 - 4 and 5 star reads which I think is pretty good going

I love the Naomi Novak series although some are definitely better than others

I had a lot of books that I really loved for this season! So much so that I'm gonna do a top 5.

3. The Time Traveller's Guide to Restoration Britain: Life in the Age of Samuel Pepys, Isaac Newton and The Great Fire of London by Ian Mortimer
4. Off Base by Annabeth Albert
5. Say Yes to the Marquess by Tessa Dare

So three incredibly sweet romances, one amazingly absorbing history book and one (SO GOOD) book about a horrible deathly plague! :D
