"I highly doubt we have an external motion sensor here," Zax said honestly. "But you can look through those spare parts and maybe you can put one together." He pointed over to the wall where there was shelves full of color coded, mostly clean, bins of spare parts.
"Ah," Siri said, nodding as if she completely understood. She did, in a way, since she was as daft in technical lingo as pretty much anything else. "May I take a look inside then before I grade you?" she asked politely.

Gwen nodded. "Okay, Thanks. Also, is there a safer place to test robots? The fireworks startled me," Gwen said.

Siri gave a small laugh. "I can agree with that. There's too many technical words for everything and not everyone understands them, so I don't talk in them much," she said. Swiftly, she pulled her tools out of her belt, one by one as she opened up the robot. She carefully examined the inside, growing gradually more impressed. "Oh wow, the inner workings of this are really complex. I find no fault in that, but my suggestion for the future is just to simplify your design. You don't always have a lot of space to work with, so minimalism is a good practice."
"There really isn't," Zax answered. "What you see is about the extent of the space we have to work with as of now. Expansions for explosions weren't really in my plans."

Dragos finished texting his girlfriend and instead turned his phone sideways so he could listen to music on it. He kept hearing everyone else's achievements and it was making him jealous! He totally deserved that extra credit, that teacher is so stupid! Well, at least she was hot.
Gwen nodded. "Then I'll make sure it's not a problem, sir." She gave him a smile and went over to the bins to start looking.

Siri laughed at Oak's little joke. "Oh please don't. We don't have room for that sort of explosion," she said and shook her head a bit. "Really, I love your design. Top marks for you, one hundred percent." She gave him a smile and handed the robot back before moving on to document it before she forgot.

He finally stood up and put his phone down. "That is so unfair! My design was the coolest, so why don't I get all of the points?" He complained loudly.

Siri looked over at the complaining student, not rattled at all by his behavior. "Well it's really quite simple," she began to answer. "Your design was nice, but it failed in execution. If you had put that coating on the chamber, then you would have gotten top marks too. But it's alright that you didn't. After all, what is the point of school but to better yourself and your end product?"

"I don't need school anymore though, I'm already super smart!" He insisted. "You just don't want to admit that someone as sexy as me can possibly make something good! Admit it, you were actually distracted by my looks, weren't you?"

"I-I'm sorry?" Siri asked, tilting her head in confusion. She had no idea how a person's physical appearance had anything to do with their robot project. He had clearly not taken basic safety measures in the fireworks chamber, and she had explained that, so what was his problem?

Dragos rolled his eyes. "Just as I expected, you're daft. But you're really hot, so that makes up for it. It's actually a shame you're married, because I wouldn't mind having you for a night," He smirked, running his hands through his hair.

With that, Zaxion finally intervened. "You will not speak to her like that," he told Dragos in a very serious, borderline agitated tone. "She is your teacher and she deserves your respect. If you can't give her that, then I will have to give you detention."

He rolled his eyes again and stuck his tongue out at Zax. "I'd like to see you try to give me detention! I'm technically older than both of you combined, so when you think about it, you should be paying me respect!"

"That's it, detention," Zax said and went to the desk to write up the slip. He brought Siri with him, who was luckily mostly confused, though she was upset at the use of the word 'daft'.

Dragos rolled his eyes in response and sat back down at his desk, playing on his phone again. They could give him detention all they wanted, but he didn't have to actually go.

Zax shook his head at the smug looking little boy. He probably thought he could get out of it by just not going, but the teacher knew better. The knowledge that the kid would magically be teleported when it was time for him to serve detention made Zax a little smug as well.

Honey pouted because she still had no idea what to do in spite of Keiko's instructions. The only thing she managed to do was take the robot apart halfway. She shyly raised her hand, knowing full-well she was going to fail.

Gwen went back to her seat and started working again. All the while she had been listening to Dragos talk back to the teachers. It disgusted her. And if it were up to her, back in her world, she would have taken a metal pipe to his knees to make her point.
Still, the robot would have to do. She found something that would work like a sensor and an abundance of spare screws. The duller ends meant she wouldn't have to file them down.
At her desk, she began to make scratches on the inside of the robots body, making sure to weaken the walls but not break through. Then she filled the robot with sugar from the first jar and a small amount of fertilizer from the second. She didn't mix it so it wouldn't become viable. Then she began filing down screws so there were no sharp edges. She added them to the inside and began to reassemble the robot. She made sure that she noted the the correct order she took it apart and only put the pieces that made the electrical bits work.
Finally, she put the sensor on the outside, using a watch battery from her pack to power it.
She raised her hand again and hoped there was enough time before class was over.

Zax was still finishing the detention slip, so he let Siri go to help Gwen. Or rather, he didn't notice that Siri had left his side to go do her job until it was too late for him to reasonably stop her.
So Siri walked over to the student with her hand in the air. "Are you ready now? Or do you have a question instead?"

Cindy noticed Gwen and walked over to her. I can help you. Are you finished? Or did you have a question? She wrote down quickly and showed her.

Dragos wanted to listen to music on his phone and plugged in his earbuds, though unbeknownst to him, the earbuds jiggled out of the hole slightly so his really loud music was currently being broadcasted to the entire room.
