Siri and Zax arrived in the classroom a little late that morning since she had been feeling too sick to get up right when she was supposed to. But when it came to teaching, she put on her usual cheer. "Hello students!" Siri began. "I would like to welcome you all to Engineering class and would like to start by saying that should you ever have a question about anything, feel welcome to ask." She paused, trying to figure out why that sounded wrong. After a second, she just moved on. "Since it's the first day, I think we ought to start by evaluating your skills in simple reverse engineering! In front of each of you is a small, currently working robot that I built myself. Your task is to take it apart and repair it to the best of your ability. If you enhance it in any way, you get extra credit! You may begin."

Zax sighed when she finished and held his hand up so that he could add something. "If you have any further questions, you can ask us. If you need any help figuring out how to take it apart, Ms. Dahlia is available to help." He realized that his wife had also neglected to introduce them, but he figured he would just write their names on the board while they waited.

Cindy hurried into the class, wearing a full-skirted ball gown to look her best for the first day. She pulled her notepad off her belt and wrote: I'm not late, am I? Did I dress the wrong way? I guess I'll go back and change, She wrote, noticing what Zax and Siri were wearing.

Honey blinked at the robots in confusion. She only took the class because she thought Brandon would take it too, and she wanted to prove to him she could be smart too! But she had no idea what she was even supposed to do....she nervously pushed a button on hers stomach and made its eyes light up. Smiling slightly, she started to unscrew the button.

Gwen looked at the robot in front of herself curiously. She sat furthest from the door, in case any runners made their way through the door. She still wasnt convinced there weren't any in this world.

The lights on the robot flashed slightly and Gwen chewed her lip. She'd never seen a working robot, nor did she have any use for one. However, she had read a lot about wiring and electronics.

It's fine. We're taking apart Miss Siri's robots and rebuilding them, Cindy wrote down for Specter, holding up her notebook in the hopes she could see it.

Dragos placed his chin in his hand and yawned since he had stayed up all night playing video games. Normally he wouldn't even be here, but it was really cloudy so he figured it'd be fine, plus there's no way he's missing out on an engineering class! When hearing what he was to do, he pulled his glasses out of his pocket and leaned in, eagerly getting to work.

Specter looked at the robot then began to get to work on taking the robot apart, slowly so she could understand it more before she'd have to put it together, thankfully she had a good memory and her cyborg parts really helped it too. Smiling Specter began to put the robot back together, not fast but at a more slowish speed, wanting to make sure she was getting everything in the right spot as she remember.

Oak came in late, but didn't care enough to worry. He sat down and saw a robot in front of him. What were they doing? We do the same thing every school year...just take it apart or whatever! Oak took out his essentials beginning the task, and watching his classmates fora bit.

Oak easily took his apart, even though he was much better with natural resources than mechanical objects. Now putting it back... Maybe he could do something special. Make it talk? Make it fly? Engineering is always hard... maybe I could get help from a smart person? He glanced at a boy who looked like he knew what he was doing...ask him? "Hey, what quirks could I put on my robot?"

Specter finished the robot and relaxed in her seat quietly. She hoped she did well, being the first time she took a robot apart, but then again she's had to build an EMP gun back in her old class which felt just as challenging. Specter let out a quiet yawn and looked around the class, examining the room.

He didn't like the idea of sharing what he was doing, but he kept in mind to make his faster than his partner's...he kind of had that competitive spirit. He started tinkering with everything, trying to go above this time in his mediocre engineering knowledge.

Keiko walked in, blushing when she noticed everyone was already at work. She tugged her fur coat slightly to hide herself better, then sat down near the back of the class. She slowly started to take apart her robot, quickly learning the ropes of how to do such a thing.

Specter's reaction for the screaming was to cover her ears and narrow her eyes annoyed, a small growl of annoyance came from her mouth and she said towards Honey, "Some of us could have sensitive hearing."

Oak winced at Honey screaming, and tried not to suck his teeth at Spector. Yeah she was loud, but who cares about anyone with sensitive hearing? Can everyone shut up and do their work? My competitive side is taking over... Oak thought and stopped thinking of others, and went back to work.

Keiko felt bad for Honey, though she didn't say anything. She had fully taken her robot apart and she needed to focus on putting it back together, which she anticipated would be the hardest part.

Tamaki came into the class, triumpful to find out this engineering thing, even though he thought it was primarily for mortals. "Hello everyone!" He chirped and sat across from a girl with a tissue. Oh my god, was she crying? "Oh dear, why are thee crying? And what is a young lady like you doing in this class?" He questioned being sympathetic, and what a normal person would call an idiot.

Specter went to tinkering with her metal arm, not really caring if anyone saw her messing around with it. She yawned a bit as she kept messing with her arm.

A woman's place was surely in a kitchen, being a lovely wife, and taking care of her kids. Tamaki didn't see Honey either in this class. "A boy?" People liked each other before marriage? Only Tamaki was as clueless while his sister kept calling him an idiot, whatever that meant. "Well me either, I just came here and was interested in mortal classes...." Tamaki said in his pompous tone, "I have no idea either. Maybe thou and I shall work united?"

Cindy nodded. So am I, I'm not used to waking up this early, She started checking on Specter's robot, making sure everything was in working order. Though she really wished Siri could help, since she was the best one at this sort of thing.

Honey nodded, smiling, putting away her tissue. "He's very nice and smart!" She blinked at his formal way of speaking, having no idea what he was really asking, though she caught his use of the word 'mortal'. "You aren't human?" She tilted her head in curiosity.

Keiko finished putting her robot back together, feeling slightly proud of herself, as her blue-tinged glasses showed. She nervously raised her hand and waited for Zax or Siri to come check. She had several bracelets and rings on, and they all clinged together when she raised her hand.

Siri had ended up tinkering with one of the robots herself and was practically oblivious to what was going on around her. She'd only looked up briefly when she heard someone scream, but figured either Zax or Cindy would figure out how to fix it. In her mind, she was only there to talk and then check. Mostly because Zax had told her not to interfere with the students' failures.

Zax was about to say something to the class in general before he saw a girl raising her hand. With a brief glance to his wife, he walked over to Keiko's desk either to answer a question or to check how the robot turned out. "Are you finished?" he asked her.
