Okay, since this is a spoiler zone, let me start off with explaining why I said something. (view spoiler)
Old lady - The Lady Tyrell who admitted to slipping the poison into Joffrey's chalice. (We already knew that from right after the death, The Lady Tyrell and Littlefinger nodded to each other. Both were in on it.)
Tessa wrote: "Okay, since this is a spoiler zone, let me start off with explaining why I said something. When Cersei went to see the witch about her future, the witch specifically said she'd have three children,..."Oh I totally got that but is that the old woman you guys were referring to or is it (view spoiler)

I totally don't trust Littlefinger...he is one slimy mofo!
No, do not trust Littlefinger. Though the actor plays him so well.
I still remeber reading the first book, the first season, and at the end they actually cut off his head!! Then i was like, ok no one is safe.
I think i remember when the first season happened that no one spoiled and so then viewers where all WTF?? Especially because they had cast a name for Ned, lol.
It was really hard for me to want to watch the red wedding ep knowing what was coming.

I watched the Red Wedding NOT knowing what was coming and I couldn't even speak....I was like WTF DUDE SERIOUSLY WTF....REWIND REWIND THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, HOW COULD IT I MEAN NO NO NONONONONONON WAY! WHY ARE ANY LANISTERS GETTING DEAD?
I'm so curious what he plans for Sansa? Is he secretly in love with her and wants to turn her or does he just want to rip the house a part???
I think he is obsessed with Sansa. He wants her, but he wants power more. If you discredit Jon, which he is obviously doing, and marry Sansa, you become the King of the North. I think the big problem with Arya is she's not dumb. Arya is a real threat and she gave too much away when she said No One trained her. I think he realizes she saw through him right away and is trying to eliminate a real threat.
I think he transferred his obsession from Catelyn to Sansa. Also, probably any grudge he held against her family and Ned. In his eyes it would be a way of finally winning over them. Agree though that power comes first.
And games which might be his downfall. He thinks he is smarter than everyone and likes to play the puppet master.
I am curious as to when Sansa and Tyrion meet up again.

One thought. There might be extra hatred from Littlefinger towards Jon and Arya because, in the books, they are the only two who favor the Starks. The rest of the children favored their mother in looks and coloring.
Aren't Sansa and Tyrion technically still married? She's a Bolton widow but she was married before that freak show sold her out to that other freak fucktard.
Yeah, the physical traits of each family is a bit clearer in the books.
I think they are, except is Tyrion a widow or is his first wife still out there?
So in the books it is a bit different in that it wasnt Sansa that ended up in Bolton's clutches but mistaken identity of her friend.

Rule of the land: If the wedding isn't consummated, it never happened. Still I hope Sansa and Tyrion see each other again too. I think Tyrion really taught Sansa a lot about human kindness and seeing the person beyond the looks. Joffrey started that, but Tyrion's pure kindness and gentleman-like personality really cemented it.
No sexy times or forced sex = no hubby! That's what I liked in the book better, Dany's first experience with Drogo, he was so sweet from the beginning not like in the show. You're right! She did learn a lot from him and I hate finger manipulating her!

I'm wondering if she's actually being manipulated. All that she went through and survived makes me think that she's using him more than her. She is not stupid, nor at this point naive. She's been through so much political backstabbing and has in fact been betrayed by Littlefinger himself. I think the irony is going to be that, the lady that was a little naive pawn will end up being the most politically savvy of them all, probably saving them all.
I definitely want Sansa, all the Starks, to rise to the top. Almost like Tyrion she has had to learn to play the game to stay alive. She didnt have the might.
Good points on the spoiler Tessa.

I haven't watched the episode from 2 days ago yet, but I'm all caught up besides that. OMG guys!!! this show!!! I want a dragon. And a Jon Snow... Humina Humina!
I was sooo excited that rowboat kid is back. I kept asking my hubby where he was and he was like, give it up he's dead. but then poof after 2.5 seasons he's back!
so...
Jon is a Stark...but by Ned's sister, and a Barathian and thereby the true king, right?
I love Arya. I despise Little Finger. I could totally get behind a Jamie and Brianne pairing...

Wait ....a Barathian??? Um, no......
Nope. Jon is a Targerryan. His father is Danny's older brother and his mother is Ned's sister. Raegar got an annulment from his wife (revealed 3 episodes ago when Golly was reading that boring book about some Master's life). Thus he is the true king ahead of Dany.
have you guys read the books? I was debating on it...but I'm actually really enjoying the show so I don't want to spoil myself, you know?
Yes, and I love them. The show is now futher along than the books. We have been waiting for Martin to release the next book for around 6/7 years. I am a bit grumpy to be so loyal to the books and now to have the story first finish in the show formant.
OMG! I just got to open the spoilers, because I was on my phone before. HFS! I didn't even remotely think about the red witch being the same one who told Cersei that she would only have 3 kids. I told my hubby that she was not going to have another baby though...
I need more dragons.
I mainlined this series so fast, I hardly ever watch TV... so to watch so much in such a short amount of time, was nuts for me.
Outlander anyone??

Is that what I've coined "Rowboat kid"'s name is? Gendar? Ok... yeah, they were cute back when they were younger. I'm almost sorry Ramsey is dead... I would have liked to have seen Arya gut him...painfully!
Ela, how do you like the books?
Tessa wrote: "What if Gendar becomes king in the end... That'd be a twist."I was thinking the same and Khaleesi his bride? I don't like this pairing but hey who knows!
I totally would have backed a Jon/Dani pairing... until you guys opened my eyes on who his real daddy is... dammit!
Some are shipping Sansa and Jon.
bev wrote: "Some are shipping Sansa and Jon."I know, but again, they are cousins. Must they ship people related to each other?
Lol, well royalty marrying cousins is fairly common. But to modern American standards it is a bit....😮
Plus, they thought they were siblings. He is definitely not a romance writer so not counting on strong HEA, but i do kinda ship Sansa/Tyrion & Jaime/Brienne.
I am not checking name spellings, lol.
