Sean Hazelton I am on page 62. One cultural indifference is that the German Army allows minors to fight in the war. In America, children and minors are not permitted to fight in the war. Billy Pilgrim is facing a conflict of being captured and becoming a prisoner of war as well as various items that belong to him taken away. Billy is scared and trapped.
