Do you think there should be a fourth book?

I, for one, loved this series and they are probably my favorite books i've read in a while. My only problem is that i strongley feel that there should have been another book. The last book didnt tie up all lose ends and i was a bit dissapointed. Yes they get married and there are plans to remove the casts. but we don't see anything done about it. Also, the whole Kris being a northern rebel was never elaborated on, it was almost pointless. What do you guys think?

In one way, I would love for there to be another book, but I fear that because she didn't plain to write a fourth book, that it would not turn out being as good as the first three. I have read series were the author does this and it doesn't always work. So, if she can write a fourth book that is just as good, if not better, then she is a much better author then I thought.

I was fine with 3 but I was still happy with the other 2 coming

Maybe a short novella to extend the epilogue, but not another 200- 400 page book

No. Because the whole point of the series was to find out who America chooses, and she chose Maxon.

I think the whole third book was not thought out completely and their are tons...I mean tons of unanswered questions and facts left out the book. The plot never did come full circle. So it would be great if the author could fix those issues while telling us what happens in the future.

Yes! I really want more of the Selection series
And I think there are 2 more books of this series coming out. The next one is {The Heir}, I think, according to Kiera Cass. But it's going to be a few years though, can't wait!

Yes because I love Kiera's writing style and the way Maxon and America are developed. No because they already have their happy ending. I wonder what there could possibly be added to that.

4th book "The Heir" coming May 5, 2015!!! So excited :)

I feel that the author wouldn't have needed to rush the end, if she had paced her books well. The first was fine at setting some things up, but the second book is where it really slowed down. Not much was developed or touched on. If she hadn't focused so much on the love triangle in the second book, then the ending wouldn't have felt rushed, she would have been able to touch on more in the third book and not leave a lot of loose ties. I think that a forth book is pointless and I probably wouldn't read it.

i felt that books one and two weren't very detailed, but at least they told the story well. book three was way too rushed and left many things unanswered. i felt like another book should have been smooshed between two and three, but only if Cass could fit enough into it. and yes i want a novella/novel to see what happens next:D i wanna see a bunch of little red-headed babies!!

I'd love to read a prequel about Queen Amberly and King Clarkson. Now that would be really interesting (:

A fourth book would be great, but only if that author could keep up the magic of the first three books. I'd love to learn more about this world!

I would like for Kiera Cass to have a fourth book being about their life after marriage and how America is adjusting to everything.

I would really want that! Even if its just a novella. :D

yes! I think there should be a book on their kids and their lives

NO. I think it was the Perfect ending. That would be meaningless to write the forth book.:)

YES! I mainly just want to find out more about America's and Maxon's future together. (I want them to have a bunch of little babies!)And I want to know more about what's going to change with Maxon as King now. (What will happen with the castes and rebels) Also, I'm curious about Aspen's and Lucy's relationship! :)

I don't want another book. Yeah, there are some things I want to know. A longer epilogue would be nice, maybe a Q&A or a short story. But I think another book would be disappointing and feel tacked on. Yeah, not everything is resolved but the main plot of the story is. Whenever authors write a book after that, it feels strained. Not in the natural course of the storyline.

I say yes, but I'm totally biased.

Yes Yes Yes, another book please. :) As the issue of who chooses who is resolved I would like to read America and Maxon's chemistry

I honestly hope so! I want to have a preview of what their marriage is like, and if there is a baby on the way, how the rebels are working, how the country is working with the castes slowly being eliminated, etc.

That would be cool if she wrote a fourth book! I did feel like the ending was rushed and not everything was explained at the end. I hope she writes another one! I really want to find out the result of America and Maxon eliminating the casts.

i'm always a fan of continuing a trilogy into a full blown series if it's merited and i agree with you - in this case i would have loved to have another story and maybe we still can. I feel like the end was a bit rushed in the sense that we see Maxon and America make contact with the rebels, and then things quickly go awry- deaths ensue and they get married. we don't get to see the results of what they want to do though - how they want to change things to make it more equal across the country and how they use their relationships and new friendships around the world to better things domestically.

i would LOVE at least another novella - that would be great to me, and i think that with the flight of Anne afterwards - there still a bunch that can be done.

I'd love it if we could see Maxon and America get used to marrige, and also, as others have said, it would be interesting to see the castes eliminated.
