Connor stood and went to the door. He opened it, "oh, hey. Your early," he looked into the apartment, "Jason, your mom is here," he called, not arguing about how he should just keep Jason until next week since he was getting Jason tomorrow anyways.

Jason came over with Isabelle clinging to him and looked up at his dad for help getting her off, not having the heart to it.

Connor picked up Isabelle, "be good Jason," he hugged his son.

Sarah rolled her eyes at them, "Come on. I don't have all day."

Connor sighed and let go. He looked at Sarah, "everything okay?" He asked gently, actually worried about her for the first time since they broke up.

Sarah actually looked sad and tired when he asked but she put her wall back up quickly. "None of your business Connor."

He nodded, "take it easy, your only human."

She ignored him and grabbed Jason's hand and pulled him out the house.

He sighed and closed the door.

He nodded and brought her to the kitchen.

"Want to help?" She asked hoping to distract his mind off of Jason and Sarah for a while.

He shrugged, "maybe izzy wants too," he looked at his daughter.

Connor had the day off work, so he lounged on the couch and watched Tom and jerry for the hole day. Tara was at work and Izzy was with her, since Tara was teaching in the rebellion.

Sarah staggered to the door, sobbing, with Jason.
Jason held onto his mom's hand and knocked on his dad's oor and hoped he was home.

Connor looked from the tv confused. He got up, still in his pj pants and muscle shirt from bed. He went to the door and opened it, "umm... Hi?" He moved aside so they could come in.

Sarah hugged Connor and started blubbering about her boyfriend.

He jumped a bit and patted her back, "shh shh, come in. I'll get you some hot chocolate or something.." He couldn't understand her when she was balling.

Jason went inside to look for his sister.
Sarah nodded but still wouldn't let him go.

Connor looked at Jason, "she's with Tara, Jason..." He awkwardly brought Sarah inside.

"Do you remember where Tara works?" Jason had been there on e or twice with izzy and Tara.

Connor looked down at Sarah, "let's get you something to help calm you." He led her to the kitchen and put on a pot of tea. He wasn't sure why he remembered that she liked tea, but he did.

Sarah pulled her knees to her chest to hid her baby bump. She looked down at the floor.

He pored her a mug and set it in front of her, "talk to me Sarah."

"I-I-I don't know Connor." She whimpered and picked up her mug. "I-I thought he would change. But...."

He got himself a mug full and sat across from her, "just tell me what happened, from the begging," he said softly.

Sarah nodded and explained how Gabe had been doing better. That he hadn't been hurting Jason and was nicer. Then told him about how she had come home and found him in their bed having sex with 2 other girls. She even slipped and told him about the baby and how she took Jason and left. "I-I didn't know where else to go." she admitted.

He nodded, "I might be able to get you a room in the rebellion until you find something," he offered.

She wiped her eyes, "W-why would you do that?" She didn't even get why he hadn't kicked her out yet.
