Jason looked up at Connor, "You guys aren't in trouble right?"

He shook his head, "I don't think so."

Jason nodded and looked out the window, silently.

"How about we go get you some cloths for the night?" He offered softly.

Jason nodded, "okay." He just wanted to go.

Connor walked Jason inside and cleaned him up before getting him into pjs and packing cloths for the day. He brought Jason to his car and drove home.

Tara was waiting for them outside when Connor pulled up. She rushed over to him, "What happened? Are you guys okay?"

Connor nodded, "I'll explain after a nap," he picked up Jason, who was now sleeping, and carried him inside.
Isabelle was awake now, since it was nine in the morning. She fallowed her dad and got into bed with Jason when he was laid down. She snuggled up to her brother.
"You take care of him," Connor ordered.
Isabelle nodded.

Tara frowned softly at Jason wondering what had happened. She pulled Connor from the room, "What happened?"

Connor rubbed his forehead tiredly and told her the hole story.

Tara frowned, "He can't go back there Connor."

Connor sighed, "you know I can't decide that. Sarah didn't do anything, her boyfriend did."

"Still. I don't like it Connor. We don't know if that could happened to Jason again."

He frowned, "don't you think I know that!?"

Tara sighed, "I know. Sorry." She felt terrible about what happened, she couldn't imagine how Connor was feeling.

Connor took a breath, "lay down with me?"

Tara nodded and took his hand and lead him to their bedroom.

He collapsed onto the bed and instantly fell asleep.

Tara sat next to Connor and brushed his bangs back gently, not wanting to wake him.

Isabelle stayed awake, listening to her half brother'a snoring.

Jason started having a nightmare and woke up screaming.

Isabelle jumped awake, having fallen asleep, and hugged Jason instantly, "it otay jay-jay," she whispered.

Jason hugged his half sister back trying to hold back his screams.

"Bad dream?" She asked worriedly, knowing bad dreams all to well.

He nodded, "S-s-sorry."

"No be sowy," she sat up, "watch movie to make it go bye bye?"

He bit his lip and nodded, "okay." he whispered, he felt safe with his half sister.

She smiled and got out of bed, still in her nightgown. She dragged him out of bed and to the living room.

Jason followed her and sat on the couch.

She plopped next to him and watched.

Jason didn't watch the movie much, he just stared down at his hands, lost in thought.

Connor grumbled and woke up.

Tara had fallen asleep next to Connor.

He slowly sat up and checked his phone to see is Sarah had texted or called.

Sarah had texted him saying that she was coming to get Jason at night.

Connor texted back saying that was fine and asked if Jason would be picked up before or after dinner.

Sarah texted back after. SHe didn't feel like feeding the boy.

He nodded and put his phone down.

Isabelle came into her parents room and over to her daddy,"Me and jay-jay hungry daaddy." She said, well she guessed her brother was hungry. He wasn't talking much.

Connor nodded, "I'll go make some lunch. You two play."

"Is Jay-jay gonna be okay?" She asked.

Let's hope so," he hugged her, "but he needs your joy to help him."

He nodded and walked her out of the bedroom.

Isabelle brought Jason to her room to play with their toys and managed to get him to smile a few times. It was hard but she wanted to see her half brother happy again.

Connor came in and watched them for a minute before announcing that lunch was ready.
