Karen, when did you read this? Was it standalone or part of a series? Was it a paper book, ebook, other?

Hi, it was just a hardback book a few years ago, about 2011, so it must have just been out. It looked like it was part of a series as there was a back story to the main character, which was a man, they were also in Washington & he got help from a librarian, as the stonetablets were previously there in the middle east were now in the USA, while this was happening they were planning in bombing mecca.

I left the book on the plane & forgot to take a note of the author & that is why I trying to find the book/& or the author.
