long time lurker from the Amazon Discussion Forums. Took a bit of hiatus and found they shut down the Discussion Forums. I've missed the snark

However, Hamilton isn't very interested in the Merry series, so years go by between books. The last Merry book was published in 2014 (not concluding the series), and the one before that was published in 2009.

Hamilton has admitted that she should have ended the series with "Darkness," but she keeps on stringing the Merry fans on with no conclusion in sight. She claims she wants to come back to the series when the babies are older, but that's a pretty poor excuse since she can speed up time as she cares to. (If you read her social media, especially her old blogs it is obvious that Hamilton herself is not very maternal and only became interested in her own daughter when she got older).
OK, just wrapping up Divine Misdemeanors. Talk about filler! This series began with such promise but I'm perversely mesmerized by how much nothing transpired in these last few books. We get it, they are all handsome. Very strange lack of plot progression.
Is that the one wher all she does is wander naked through the fairy mound or whatever it is?
No that was Mistral's Kiss. I remember reading that, getting to the end and asking "where's the rest of the book.
I'm embarrassed it took me almost a year to figure out that Amazon had closed its forums, and that it wasn't just some ad blocker incompatibility. I was Joseph back on Amazon as well.

Hi , Heidi, I've been reading your blog and I've really been entertained. LKH has some odd ideas about height and even odder ideas about sex. Since I'm only 4' 11" all of her whining about being so tiny that she's nearly invisible annoys me. She keeps saying her incredible tininess means she can't do missionary position with either JC or Richard. They are so, so tall that she'd end up looking at their chest, not being able to look in their eyes and kiss and remain attached. It really doesn't work that way. I don't think I've ever had a partner who was shorter than around 5'11" and it's never a problem. Most of the difference in height is difference in leg length. That's why my man needs 34" inseam for his pants and I could use capri pants in place of regular long pants. That's because I'm probably a 24" inseam and the petite pants are 28". So I joke about JC and his elongated torso just like I mention Micah's suspiciously womanly hips. You know since Anita and he are about the same height si they can share t-shirts and pants. The t-shirts I can ignore, maybe Anita likes over sized tees to wear casually. But she's supposed to have this ginormous badonkadonk butt. There's no way pants that fit her butt would fit Micah's and vice versa.
Also do you remember Anita wearing a tight tee-shirt to support her breasts when she couldn't wear a bra? She's supposed to have EEE cup breasts. Presumably 32 EEE because she's thin for her height. Honey, if you have such large breasts a tee-shirt isn't going to work.
Hi! I thought I was the only person in the world that hate reads these books. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the harping on her tiny, but super curvy body is annoying. JEEZZZUZ And her fashion sense? Gah.

Hi All!I posted regularly on the Amazon discussions from 2016 until they were shut down.
I went by a name I won't disclose here because privacy, but those who were there should be able to tell by the appearance (there were spacing and formatting gaffs because of software) of my posts.
I'm happy to be joining you again, even if none of you remember me. :)

There is no way a tight tee would work! A very well-constructed and fitted underwire bra is the only solution, at least it is for me. I was always also amused at the idea that Anita and Micah could share clothing.

I'm not sure if this is still an active group or not. I was (many, many moons ago) a moderator on LKH's discussion forum. I doubt if it is still running -no other writer seems to have one anymore. At any rate, I have a question for anyone still hanging around and I'll start a thread for it. *sigh* BTW my name is Dianne!
