Introductions!

I guess my current reading list pretty much shows that I'm not very particular about genres :)

I am from Daphne, Alabama.
My interest is very open to anything that is a good read except romance and scary. I am a ninny! I just downloaded our January book and am excited about this group.

I'm Gábor from Hungary - a little but beatiful country from the Middle-Europe, I'm 34 and so excited about this group - I've never participated any Reading Club like this before.

I live in the U.S., and I'm a sucker for all books as dark as my soul, including the Six of Crows duology. I joined Goodreads in the hope of meeting people who share my taste and interest in books. Thus far, I'm not disappointed :)))

I love books big times, classics mostly, deep passion for Latin American lit. I do read a lot, since I rarely watch TV, fav time of the day as soon as my little boy falls asleep.

I’m Syeila and am currently living in Geneva, Switzerland. Im currently reading ‘How to Stop Time’ by Matt Haig. Very happy to be in this group!

My name is Katie. I am 29 years old currently living in Netherlands. I joined Good Reads in january to help me with my reading challenge. I am big bookie and you can find me on instagram as well if you like book pictures (link in my profile or simply search for bookatiepillar) :D hahahaha. I am looking for bookfriends so feel free to send me friend request and we can discuss books! X Katie

My name is Sara, and I am from a small town in Nova Scotia. My favorite genres include fiction; horror, thriller, fantasy, si-fi, historic-fiction / Non-fiction history novels, self-improvement, social service studies, biographies. I also enjoy reading poetry and plays!
I am currently reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for a school project, though I do not enjoy this novel.

Hello Haley! Everything´s Eventual, it was the first book of short stories I read about Stephen King and I get hooked forever :)

I prefer good romantic book, just to relax after a long day! But I read all kind of books during the year.
I'm looking forward to read with you all!

I love the surprise in books, hidden philosophy in all genres. No wonder my favourite author is Joanne Harris. I was raised with Agatha Christie novels in my hand so good mystery is also something always worth reading for me. Another prised are James Oliver Curwood with his amazing narration about animals and Terry Pratchett with his adult humour in the silly world. Holly Black, Leonie Swann and world of Earthsea? Gods I love them all :D

My name is Dakota, I'm Australian but I live in Paris. Every book is an adventure- I'm terrible at goodbyes and I miss fictional characters almost as much as real people!
I love historical fiction, romance and fantasy.
Nice to meet you all!

I'm currently working on a book project which happens to be an original satire/feminist fairytale story - I know there are plenty of those around already, but to my mind one more can't hurt, right? Anyway, it's coming along slowly, but I got more than 25,000 words down so far and the whole plotline settled, so I know I'll get there eventually!
I'm glad I found this club and I'm looking forward to interacting with you guys :3

hey I'm Xiomara I'm from California and Welcome!!

I love reading historical fiction and literary fiction.
My favourite authors are Mitch Albom, Khaled Hosseini and Rupi Kaur, amongst others.
I have just finished high school so I'm hoping to get back into reading this year :)

Hello, My name is Xiomara, I'm from California. Welcome!!

I have just started to get back into reading recently after a long five year break from reading novels on a regular basis. Mandatory dull textbook readings killed my love for reading, but it's starting to come back. Long may this passion for reading stay!

While I like to read many different types of books, I've realized that I tend to prefer historical fiction. I also listen to audiobooks once in a while. Nice to meet you all! :)

Fantasy is my altime favourite but I've beeen experiencing with some other genres over the years. So far I enjoyed every one of them!
I generally try to stay away from books with love triangles but even if there is one in an otherwise promising book, I will still read it, and even like it, if the stroy is great, and it is well written, with a few epic characters if possible.

I'm originally from England, but now live in America with my husband and our crazy dog and cat hehe. I love to read, and will try most genres, but my favourites are: Urban Fantasy, Crime/Thriller, Mystery, Sci-Fi, YA, Paranormal Romance.
I'm really excited to join the group so hello to everyone! And a Happy 2018 to you all! :)

I am Sophia and I read a mix of fiction and non-fiction on a ratio of about 2 to 1. Last year I managed to read 62 books 🙀 and I am still wondering HOW...
Love reading and have been escaping into mystery and fantasy books since I could decipher the letters on my own without adult help. I am quadrilingual, and find it very difficult to find non-english books. Any tips for sourcing italian, french or greek e-books would be appreciated!!
I live in London, and mostly read during my commute on my kindle.
Lovely to meet everyone. Look forward to discovering new books with you! Book fairies rock!
Sophia

Wow! That's really impressive 😱😍 I "only" read 22, but I'm studying and I live on a walking distance to my University so I don't have much spare time left to read haha

Welcome, Janell, and Happy New Year!

My name is Shannon...sometimes go by Confuzzled Shannon. I am from Bucks County Pennsylvania in USA. I am a avid reader and I can't believe I am just finding this group!
At the moment I am still trying to finish two Christmas books I started in December they are An Irish Country Christmas by Patrick Taylor and Christmas With Anne of Green Gables and Other Stories by L.M. Montgomery. I have been writing reviews on here and my book blog Confuzzled Books since ...2009 I think.

I'm really excited to be in this group and can't wait to get to know some you guys and find new books to read!
I have joined the group and would like to know what your January read is---I've looked all over the site and can't find it. Thanks for your help on this!
