I combined it with the short story it's cover art seems derived from and submitted it in the big deletion thread.It seems like both stories are freely available online, so it's not AS bad as it could be, but it's still rather scummy.
I've seen plenty of long time users swear up and down that mobilism.org is a legit site but I've come across too many links to pirated books to buy that.
Thank you for deleting the bogus book.I suggest leaving the short story as it is set in the same universe as the other Imperial Reach books and people may want to have it in their library.
Right, the short story is legit and it'll be left alone.But what should happen is that when the bogus combo is deleted (hasn't happened yet. It needs someone with more rights than I have, and it's the weekend), the reviews should move from that to the individual story.
So, at least the people will have reviewed/rated at least one of the two stories.
Problem with merging the reviews is the reviews are for two short stories. But given that it is only 3 people, I suggest just letting the reviews go as they don't work for either short story on their own.
#5 That is not how our policy works. Wherever possible we retain reviews on the item nearest to that reviewed in error/against policy.
But the ratings are for both and could be different. And the reviews could mention the other story.
That is on the reviewer to fix, if they care. It is better to have a partially correct review that to remove someone's efforts entirely.
This isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things, since there's only two stories involved.
The book at the above link is not actually a real book. Someone made it by combining two short stories. If you look at the cover used, it has a link pasted on the cover. That link goes to a website where people can download illegal eBooks. This book does not exist as a legal book one can buy or legally download. It also has two different publishers because the short stories were published by different publishers.
I hope it doesn't take long to remove this illegal eBook. Thanks.
