Amazon the 7 Deadly Keywords

Okay I'm new at this, and I'm after some help. I have tried and tried with the 7 keywords. I've read everything on Kindlepreneur and other site regarding long tail keywords. I'm going to go out on a bit of a limb here and post the 7 I am using and ask for comments. I don't have a lot to offer in return - apart from perhaps some helpful clicks on your 5* reviews, or indeed a review or two. let me know.

Here are the ones I am using.

Historical fiction 16th Century England
Phillipa Gregory and Alison Weir
Medieval Mystery with love and a prince
Tudor romantic fiction
Medieval fiction
elizabeth I
tudor fiction novel

Any help, any comments, please.

Hi Sam, Looks like you've hit on the genres as well as more specific keywords. The broad terms garner more potential customers, somewhat diluting your book, but I think they're necessary. I've heard other GR authors use author names similar to their writing, but some said they didn't work. Having said that, I'm trying an author name Monday on a lower bid. We'll see. My other bids are higher. The bids can mean a lot, too. Many say their ad doesn't pay off, but they get exposure and higher KU page reads. Lots of trial and error.

Thanks for the comments, I've refined it a little but everytime I touch it it's like a house of cards, and sales plummet. Google marketing I am a bit of a wizz at - but Amazon! Keywords I am now using are
Tudor Romantic Fiction
Historical Fiction 16th Century
medieval Mystery Novels
Tudor Fiction Novel
Tudor Historical Fiction
Historical Fiction Tudors
medieval Historical Fiction England

My quesion is - if anyone knows the answer - I've changed the keywords, sales have stopped as usual when I tamper with these, how long does it take to "settle down" on Amazon??
