I thought I would send out a shameless plug for my novels and my website. I write mystery/suspense novels. So far I have 3 published and 1 that should be out within a couple of months.

I designed and created my website myself. When I started, I had minimal HTML knowledge. It took dozens of Google searches and lots and trial and error (and a little cursing) but I got it done. And I even came to enjoy the process!

My site contains excerpts of all 3 of my novels, a monthly crime-related newsletter, contests, my blog, and a bunch of stuff that will hopefully amuse you. You can also buy my books there (as well as on Amazon).

That is a fab web site Darcia. I have just entered the newsletter subscriptions. I can not enter the contests because i am in the UK. I loved the site though. Congratulations.

Tracey, I'm sorry about the contests. That just isn't fair for me to leave you out! I'll look into shipping costs to the UK and see what I can do about adding your country in. I can't imagine that shipping to the UK can be any worse than shipping to Canada. My son lives there and it often costs me more to ship a box to him than it does to fill it up!

I know you weren't hinting, Tracey. But I would like to include the UK in my contests (and anywhere else where there might be interest!). I've only had the site up since May, so I'm still making adjustments.

Since I don't see a trip to the UK in my future, it would be nice to at least have my books make it there!
