ABANDONED. Good Witch Turns 'Bad' When Angry?

Hello All, recently I've been trying to collect all the books from my childhood to read to my own children one day and i have one which has stumped me for a name or even detailed plot line.
Its about a witch that is usually good but whenever she becomes angry or irritated she transforms into a mean witch who cannot control her temper.
There could be two witches involved but honestly i can't remember many details.
One chapter that stands out to me is when the witch invites someone over for tea and although she gets annoyed, she desperately tried to hold in her outburst and attempts to stop herself from turning into this bad witch in front of her guests.
I read it as a child but it could be aimed at any age, as i do remember the langue being a little advanced for my infant brain. I also recall reading it for a prepared reading competition if that helps give anymore clues to the book!
