Awesome Chris, thanks.

Tammie | 5985 comments Good points Scott. Those are some of the reasons this book got 4 stars from me instead of 5.

I'm in the Dark Room too, but I haven't kept up with the threads in a while.

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 1578 comments I would be interested in joining the group as well, Chris and Tammie. Is that where he does a lot of his beta reading stuff? Now that I'm pretty much all caught up with his books I would love to get more involved with his progress on the various projects.

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 1578 comments And Scott, while I did really enjoy this one and did give it five stars, I can definitely see where you're coming from with your critiques. I think that some of what seemed like mundane extras will likely show up later (he does that a lot with the Riyria books), but for now it just seems like trivial information. Still, I did really enjoy it.

Frank | 834 comments I am a bit late to this party, totally missed this one in the list, and am trying to frantically catch up.
Through Chapter 12 and must say that so much is being uncovered at this point:
(view spoiler)

Sarah | 494 comments I had some issues with the audiobook after I got back from vacation (it wasn't syncing right and it was driving me nuts) so I got sidetracked from it.
Back to it now.

Have I mentioned how much I despise Mawyndulë? He is a whiny, spoiled child who is delusional enough to think he is this all knowing, powerful adult. Makes me want to strangle him with his own arrogance.

I felt the same way about him.
