Just finished like 2 seconds ago and LOVED the book but damn, Im gonna die waiting for the next book. ZZ and Ivy????? NEVER saw that one coming.
Ok ok ladies, before we all jump for that exciting epilogue ( !!!). I would like to hear what did you guys think about the choice D made btw Hawk and Jase?
Ok probably the minority opinion but I'm not really liking the ZZ and Ivy pair, I hope they don't end up together( sorry y'all) I just wish for him to have a woman of his own, I don't need a love triangle anymore, I agree that some of y'all said that Ivy is one tough lady to handle but we don't really know how is Devin. I think ZZ needs a sweet woman that can pull those demons out of him, and I think he deserves to be the first choice for once no need to fight a brother for a woman. I don't know what Madeline will do or the epilogue was just a tease and might surprise us with the unexpected not the obvious. What of y'all think of course that was just my opinion.
Maria S wrote: "Ok ok ladies, before we all jump for that exciting epilogue ( !!!). I would like to hear what did you guys think about the choice D made btw Hawk and Jase?"I think she made the right choice, I've always like Hawk and to me he always love her no matter what.
I felt that this book had a different tone. I don't know about you, but i felt that Madeline was preparing us to say goodbye to the characters.
Jase's sorrow was heartbreaking. I loved that in the end he decided to be a better man for his daughters. But, i have to confess that the book ended and i didn't understand his feelings in relation to his wife. He couldn't divorced of her just because their daughters, or he truly did love her, as well as, D.
When I started reading the book, I was all the way Team Hawk..... Only because I hated what Jace had done to Dorothy over the years. But my heart broke for Jace, it really did. I am glad that Dorothy choose Hawk. He was her rock throughout the years. Now the Ivy and ZZ storyline, I am stoked for. Like Momma like daughter :)
I loved it. To me Jace finally became a man. Can't wait for Ivy and ZZ, I figured it would be her. She was the only one I could think of with him and a way to bring to ZZ back into the family.

I don't think that's a good pairing at all. First of all, how can he lie low if he's with Ivy? and I can't picture her leaving everyone for him... although we don't know much about her.
I'm with you. I will be furious if Ivy gets together with ZZ. There are so many things wrong with that. I was ecstatic to read how she ended up with Devin!
Hilarie wrote: "I'm with you. I will be furious if Ivy gets together with ZZ. There are so many things wrong with that. I was ecstatic to read how she ended up with Devin!"Yeah I'm liking Devin and Ivy too but who knows what Madeline might plan for them, majority of fans are liking the ZZ & Ivy pair but I think ZZ is way more older than When Deuce got together with Eva.
I love the book! But I can't help but feel that Madeline is preparing us for Deuce's death.. I don't like that idea.. And I don't like the idea of so much time passing by..
Ok, I just finished the part where Dorothy finally told Jase that yes she loves Hawk!!! Boy, I'm crying like a baby!!!!
I just finished it. This book kind of fell flat for me... Maybe because so much of their story was intertwined in the other three books. I didn't think I'd like any book less than Tegan's; IMO she's not a likeable character. Still, I read it. Probably will read it again. Hopefully, I will like it more the second time around.
Patiently awaiting ZZ's story. Brother has got a raw deal this ENTIRE series.
Oh. Not feeling the Ivy/ZZ pair. Maybe the lawyer, Meredith Jamison, will make a love interest appearance. I feel like madeline set up her series introduction for another book.
I just carnt see how ZZ could ever make it back to being a "Brother" again. Have to say that this was my least fav book, re read all prev over wk end I felt this was a tad flat. SORRY.
Loved finding out more about Dorothy and Jace, sadly for him his wake up call come too late for their relationship but I believe that she made the right choice. My heart hurt for Jace but I think he used the club to escape from dealing with his life. ZZ I liked him in previous books, but I can't see anyway back for him now but Madeline always surprises us and no I don't want him and Ivy together.
I know he's Cox's son but how long do you think Cage, Deuce and Ava will let him live when they find out he took her on a run and now she missing.
I LOVED this book! My second fave in the series after UnD. My heart broke for Jase but I'm glad D picked Hawk. I loved their story. I am not thrilled about the ZZ and Ivy pairing. I too was giddy to hear her and Devin were together. But, Madeline has her way of making me love whatever she writes so I'm looking forward to ZZ's story. He needs redemption and finally love.
I liked it...didn't love it like the other three. It felt like one big epilogue. Not enough drama IMO. We already knew so much of what happened in the other three books.Team Hawk all the way. So glad she chose him and not Jase.
I liked how Jase chose his family over the club. Would be interesting to see the book where he gets back together with Chrissy.
Maria S, ITA with you that it felt like a big goodbye to the characters...so much time passing.
Pd wrote: "I just finished it. This book kind of fell flat for me... Maybe because so much of their story was intertwined in the other three books. I didn't think I'd like any book less than Tegan's; IMO sh..."
Thank you so much for saying that! I was starting to think I was the only one who wasn't head over heels for this story... it was just okay for me. I liked it but didn't love it.
I also must agree that ZZ has gotten the shaft all throughout this series. I can't wait to read his story. I kinda wish we could skip Preachers story... I honest don't give a damn about his life before Eva was born.
Maria S wrote: "Do you guys know the age difference btw ZZ and Ivy?"I figure Dani was a teenager but didn't drive yet when Eva was pregnant with Ivy so I'm guessing about a 16 year old age differences and I believe ZZ was a couple of years older than Dani so 18-19 year difference,I'm guesstimating.
I don't know what to think about Ivy and ZZ yet. But, it makes sense in order to ZZ come back to the family. Because I think the only thing bigger than the hate that Deuce feels toward ZZ is his love for his family. Deuce wouldnt kill ZZ, if Ivy loves him.
Maria S wrote: "I felt that this book had a different tone. I don't know about you, but i felt that Madeline was preparing us to say goodbye to the characters."I didn't realize it until I read your post, but I felt exactly the same way.
Brittany wrote: "When I started reading the book, I was all the way Team Hawk..... Only because I hated what Jace had done to Dorothy over the years. But my heart broke for Jace, it really did. I am glad that Do..."I think if ZZ is going to survive, this might the only way the author could have made it happen. Ivy is the only person Duece MIGHT spare ZZ for...though MS is still has a bit of convincing to do! LOL
HOWEVER what we all need to remember is that it will now be Cages decision. Deuce stepped down at the end of this book, which was kinda heartbreaking to me.
Brittany wrote: "HOWEVER what we all need to remember is that it will now be Cages decision. Deuce stepped down at the end of this book, which was kinda heartbreaking to me."I forgot about that... and Cage admitted that he was at fault for what went down.
... and I agree, I think MS is preparing us for the end. Sadly, I don't see Deuce making it to the final chapter of ZZ's book.
This is what I had to say to snother reader about Beloved. Tegan is the most annoying character protagonist if all time. I guess it's fitting that her mother's story left a lot up be desired for me. As far as the cheating goes I did not mind it either way.
Actually... I think the jase/dee storyline is the most authentic out of all her storylines. That being said there was no depth in the story. I feel like sheehan relied heavily on the reader knowing the threesome's history. Jase was pretty much a no factor in this book--At least in regards to Dorothy. Then this whole Hawk/Luca thing was glossed over do much that it was difficult to understand how he would give up his family for it.
Plus, Jase is pretty nonexistent in it so I don't know why he is even on the cover. I'm just saying.
As far as the ZZ/Ivy love story--I feel some kind of way about.
1. Z is entirely too old for Ivy. He had to be either Eva's age or a few years older than Danny. Since Eva had a Ivy in her 30s I'm thinking Z is bare minimum late forties. Hell, even Duece was in his 30s when he and Eva hooked up. He. Is. Too. Old.
2. z has caught a raw deal His entire life. He deserves a good woman that's going to understand him and love him for him and not devise their love between him and some young man. More reason to dislike Tegan. She saw what that Danny/Ripper situation did to z and the ginger haired tot decided to drag him even further down.
3. Z shot cage. Sure, cage deserved it for sleeping with Z'a girl in Z's bed, pulling first, AND generally being a douche. Still, he shot cage and almost killed hawk. How can he not go to ground.
I think the lawyer, madeline Sheridan , will show up in zz's story.
Also, prescher's character doesn't pose enough interest for a book. IMO. Maybe it'll be flashbacks about Eva's mom before she ran off. I'm not interested in reading about 15-year-old's sexual adventures in bikerland. Seeing that is how old Eva's mom was when she had her and she ran off when she was fresh out of the womb. Not to mention that I have a 15yo.
Please no more hate mail. We are all allowed to like or dislike.
In Unattainable Tegen says: '“He was too old for me anyway, somewhere in his midthirties”, talking about ZZ. That was in the first chapter when Dorothy calls up asking if Tegen will come and help with Christopher because Hawk is coming to pick up his kid. Again in Unattainable, when Tegen goes to visit this is what happens:
"Ivy glanced up and her perfect little face split into a huge grin. “CAGE!”
The next thing he knew she was in his arms, her legs wrapped around his waist, her arms around his neck, squeezing the holy shit out of him.
“Jesus, you’re gettin’ heavy. How old are you now, twenty-fuckin’-five?”
Ivy laughed. “Nine, stupid! I’m only nine!”
So say ZZ is 35 years old, mid-thirties, Ivy is only NINE! That's a 26 year age gap, which is a bit much, I could deal with Deuce and Eva, they had a looooooong history and it wasn't about their ages, they just got each other. ZZ and Ivy though? I get that it could be the only way for Deuce to allow ZZ back in, even if he isn't Prez anymore, because he wouldn't kill someone Ivy loves, but it just seems a bit off to me. Maybe it's too early to call, all of Madeline's books have been beyond awesome, so maybe the whole ZZ/Ivy thing could work, if it happens.
Thanks taz!So I'm guessing Ivy is around 20. That puts him a little younger than I thought but still too. Damn. Old!
This is copied from Madeline's FB page"Hey you! Pssst...you...come here..."
*leans in real close and whispers....*
"Remember that book I wrote a few years ago?
You know the one, right?
About this older man and younger woman?
The book that pissed a lot of people off.
They said that Deuce was a douche and Eva was a doormat, etc, ect, ect...
Remember now?
The book that spawned thousands and thousands of bad reviews, had my fellow gender calling me an anti-feminist, and even going as far to suggest this book be burned?
You remember now, right?
UnDeniable.
The book that launched a million curse words.
The book that never fails to make me smile on a daily basis.
The book that, if a reader can't see the layers upon layers of the characters within the pages, it means they're not looking deep enough.
So, yeah, about that book.
Here's a little info on the fifth book in that series: UnDeserving.
Now WAIT! Hold up. Before you get all up in arms, telling me ZZ's book should be next... I have something very important to tell you."
*gestures for you to lean in closer*
"Preacher's book HAS to be next.
Why?
Because there is an untold story in UnDeniable. A story that only Preacher knows, a story he never told his daughter, a story that even Preacher only knows the half of.
But Eva's mom, she knows the whole story. All of it. Every single second right down to the very last.
And without her story, we're not ready for ZZ's story.
Because, when I say everything will come full circle, I MEAN everything WILL COME FULL CIRCLE.
But first you need to know why.
You need to figure out the secrets that lie behind UnDeniable, YOU NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH. And once you know...only then will you be able to truly understand what happens in ZZ's book and WHY.
As well as something else you've been wondering about. The secret behind the man who became Crazy Frankie. When he was just a little boy. Don't you want to know what happened to him?
It's important, I swear to you.
If you enjoy the series, it will probably break your heart. But it's necessary to go through the pain to find the redemption at the end.
So believe me when I tell you this, all your theories... Throw 'em out the window. Because this series is going out with a bang, a boom, a fireworks storm of emotions, some bad, some good, but always worth it.
AND YOU NEED Preacher's book before ZZ's. You really, really do.
And I promise you, I won't disappoint you.
Unless you're one of those Madeline Sheehan haters.
Then I will undoubtedly disappoint you and...well, I'm okay with that.
You can't please everyone. And truth be told, I've never aspired to be a crowd pleaser. Just a girl with a few stories to tell."
xx Madeline
P.S. I'll be revealing Preacher's cover very soon along with the prologue.
P.P.S. Until then...if you haven't read the UnDeniable Series...

*backs away slowly into a nearby dark alleyway*
*whispers - I'll be back...*
Oh shit! Well that has me freaking the fuck out which I was doing enough of anyway! What the hell is going to be revealed!!!?? Can't wait and I cannot wait for ZZ to find his peace and his love. He deserves it, been shafted big fucking time and theres only so much shit kicking a man can take before he turns cold. WOW that post from Sheehan's facebook page shows it's gonna be awesome, starting with Preacher's then ZZs :)
Yeah she likes to throw a curve ball, but I think it's going to all start with Eva's mum and preacher
Hot damn!!!! Soooo maybe I'll read it now. After Tegan and Dorothy's I was almost ready to chunk this whole series. Who am i kidding? I'm going back until Duece dies!
Just finished this one tonight. I must say I am not at all surprised at how badly this one sucked for me. I knew I wasn't gonna be crazy about this one, cos I just wasn't overly insane about their whole situation anyway. And Hawk is the only interesting one in the trio. So I seriously would have been more pleased if this story unfolded as more of a secondary plot in a more interesting book... Like say... Dirty & Ellie's. But I know, Dirty isn't getting a book. Which is a shame and a really weird call. But whatever. Hoping ZZ's book is way better than this one. I've actually been wanting his story for awhile.
I fucking love this sseries!! Loved Dorothy decision to stay with hawk, my heart broke for him and then was put bank together in the end. I felt bad for jase but honestly he put himself through that shit himself. As for ZZ I have a feeling his story is going to end with him dieing, now I'm not hoping he dies i like him and want him to finally find peace and be happy but how much shit hes done and how badly hes fucked up the club i dont know!!
But I can't wait for more, this is hands down my favorite series and Undeniable is the reason I started up reading MC books! But I compare them all to this series, so a lot can't even hold a candle.
If, and that's a big if, ZZ is somehow related to Eva then the whole ZZ/Ivy thing cannot work, because it would be INCEST!!! But who knows what MS has in store in Preacher's and then ZZ's books, MS is an awesome author and all her plots work out amazing in then end anyway. Cannot wait for UNDESERVING!!!
