SOLVED. Crustacean people [s]

Hi Guys: I was invited by Leslynn to make a query here. I am looking for a book I read some years back. I think, it was by Richard Matheson. He wrote a lot of the old Twilight Zone stories. Anyway, the book was about people being turned into crustaceans, or lobster people by a virus or something. If you guys could help, I would really appreciate it.

"Some years back" is about when? 10 years ago? 20? 30? Did it seem old or new when you read it?
