It has been four months since a mysterious obsidian stone fell into Kell's possession. Four months since his path crossed with Delilah Bard. Now, restless after having given up his smuggling habit, Kell is visited by dreams of ominous magical events, waking only to think of Lila, who disappeared from the docks as she always meant to do. As Red London finalizes preparations for the Element Games--an extravagant international competition of magic meant to entertain and keep healthy the ties between neighboring countries--a certain pirate ship draws closer, carrying old friends back into port.

And while Red London is caught up in the pageantry and thrills of the Games, another London is coming back to life. After all, a shadow that was gone in the night will reappear in the morning. But the balance of magic is ever perilous, and for one city to flourish, another London must fall.

Part 1! (view spoiler)[ AYYY I'm really happy with how this started off!! I'm also really glad when Lila admitted that it was hard for her not to look back at Kell when she was leaving because when Kell said that she didn't look back when she left in the previous book, I was a little heartbroken. Also, its kind of obvious that she has strong feelings for Kell - I hope they reunite soon. I'm a bit confused about her magic though??? Is combining the fire with metal supposed to be a thing no one can do? I really want to find out more about her magic and its history!! (hide spoiler)]

Part 2 OHYMYGOD (view spoiler)[ I KNEW IT I KNEW IT - HOLLAND ISN'T DEAD sadhaskjdhauerhlksjcls oH MY GODDD why couldn't have Kell made sure that Holland didn't have a heart beat before thrusting him into Black London??? Now he's back and he has like 8137123x the power he had before???? iM SO CONFUSED. AND Kell and Rhy! Their whole part in this was pretty useless - we find out that Kell has feelings for Lila (duh!) and he does not like Alucard (predictable...) and that Kell and Rhy have become more dark (??) and are restless and moody?? Part 4 (view spoiler)[ aaaahhhh. So the black stone king is magic that has its own mind?? And now Holland is bound to it?? Honestly, in every part, the last chapter is so shocking/ends on a cliffhanger that I lowkey forget everything that occurs before the chapter - HAHAH Anyways, apart from Crazy Holland (who, keep in mind, wants to save his world... -.-) Lila has a strong control over her magic?? AND KELL IS COMPETING!! this is such a horrible idea but I love it - I can't wait to find out WHY Rhy and Kell hate Alucard!! (hide spoiler)]

And ohmygod, for a second there, I thought Lila was actually going to KILL for a spot on the games - her want for an adventure really is amazing. But i am totally thrown with the starting scene of the story ... Whoa!
So eager to read it further. 11:45 AM now ... Another 5:15 Hrs to get out of office ... M EXITED to read!

Part 8 (view spoiler)[ I feel like Holland is really twisted from his years bound to the twins - he wants what is best for his London and yet is not able to draw a line between good and evil in his actions. The collar can only mean one thing and I'm lowkey scared but highkey excited to see how this all plays out. Also, can I just say, I love Mater Tieren?? (hide spoiler)]

But then, the tables turned and I found myself not wanting Holland to succumb to the Oshoc but at the same time not wanting Kell to accept the deal. AHHH I want to read the next book right. now. Part 1 Done (view spoiler)[ That's like my baby ... Rough and tough ... Bl__dy hell initially i thought Lila is really trapped but how in the world it can be??? Haha.

Part 2 Done (view spoiler)[I think Kell has grown stronger with his encounters in Book 1. And of course ... He also has feelings for Lila ... i know :)
I forgot about White London till this chapter started actually ... see i was so engrossed in readying about my darling Kell :)

I am really obsessed with Schwab's writing style .... AWESOME ... the way she revealed that new King was Holland. The kind of peace described for White London, I was doubting Holland might be the king, but how could he be saved .... i was not sure of ... so i was discarding my thought ... But here he is ... The King ... Holland. M happy for him as I know he is a nice person without Tyrant's spell (hide spoiler)]

Part 3 Done (view spoiler)[ I feel bad for my darling Kell for the way kind and queen is treating him ... Actually you know people show their real faces only in odds. It hurt me when he felt as prisoner instead of a possession ... Worst :(

I donno why but my gut feeling is that Alucard is not going to be very positive kind of character in this story ... eventually ... I dunno I might be wrong. But somehow i feel it.

Lila seems quite interested ... like me :) ... in the Elements Games. I have a feeling that i am going to like it XP (hide spoiler)]

part 4 Done (view spoiler)[ Alright so its all set for the Games but what with Black London now. My Goodness, Holland made a deal with it's King to get his and his London's Life back. Of God I hope he does not become revengeful against Kell as he does not remember anything after Red London. Well never wanted to kill him but he was not left with a choice. ... I donno what is going to turn up next. Dangerous (hide spoiler)]

With all the detailing, i am too exited for the actual duels now. And of course Kell n Lila ... have something :)

As usual Lila is being too bold with her steps to enter the games... Poor Elsor. Can someone please move on with the games now ... again so much of detailing as it was in the first book first 3 parts. (hide spoiler)]

Holland is just being revengeful whereas he should fight against Osaron along with Kell and his kingdom. let's C what happens next ... i have no clue ... I guess kill is thinking about the Throat band he was trapped in but how he can get it around Osaron's Shadowed throat is a BIG QUESTION? (hide spoiler)]

part 3 Done (view spoiler)[Oh ... such a dramatic scene ... Osaron has taken up the whole city .. its a total chaos. Everyone at Palace is safe. Finally Queen is saying the truth .. hypocrites. These are using the Antaris like some weapons and not people with flesh and blood. Sick Minded - Kind and Queen. I Hope Luc is able to save his sister n himself and bring themselves back to palace. I was dead scared at the scene when Anisa's Body gets up on Luc's bed in the ship and Kell notices her .... oh God I could virtually see her as part of a horror Movie. (hide spoiler)] I actually could not sleep in dark ... I had to keep my Night lamp on yesterday night .... Hell of a scene man. Part 5 Done (view spoiler)[Its so depressing to see around everywhere in Red London. Too much of chaos. Everyone is disturbed after seeing so many dead ... or so many living dead. I dunno what will really happen when Holland tries to bait Osaron? How Kell will execute Holland if at all he is able to do it? (hide spoiler)]

Part 8 Done (view spoiler)[ Man ... this Osaron has put the whole London not only Red but beyond in Chaos. He is so clever ... he did not take the bait of Holland's Body but crap ... he is after Kell .... why the hell?

Now they have come up with this new plan of another trinket from the black market which is IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEA now .... WOW.

Holly crap ... Lila is stabbed in the chest through n through ... I hope and m sure she will survive for sure bcoz ... "It is quiet difficult to kill an Antari" (hide spoiler)]

Part 10 Done (view spoiler)[ Finally Lila was safe of course Antari huh, and surprisingly Holland saved her. Maris definitely is way too older than she look, what with the sphere sucking up years of life from people. Apart from Inhabiter, Antaris have got this Antari Binding Rings as well. Crap .. Palace is under under fallen people. Please tell me how these guys are going to fix this whole Osaron thing (hide spoiler)] And i am totally tensed now at the name of the next chapter"DEATH AT SEA"

Part 12 Done (view spoiler)[Kell had the answer to his questions about the life B4 he came to Palace but he refused to know them ... Oh man so much emotions ... my poor darling! Dealth at Sea -- Bloody hell with Jasta ... she was cunning right from the beginning.

In Palace ... Col n Cora messed up big time with King queen and Rhy. Sweet Queen is dead. And Kell is in pain due to corresponding effects by Rhy and Bard is like - "My money is on Vesk" she is something. She is right though.

Now Osaron has actually got in trap as planned but hell Antaris are not yet back to London. They cannot... Limitations of magic crap :( M really under shock coz King has gone out of the palace as called by Osaron ... Oh God her should not die ... Rhy n Kell have lost Queen already (hide spoiler)]
