SOLVED. New graphic novel about a woman in a dead end job. [s]

So this book probably came out this year because I read it in a bookshop without buying it. Most of the plot up ahead that I remember is spoilers. So this young woman works at a dead end sales/marketing job that requires her to dress up in costume and agonize with sleazy guys. She's got a dead end boyfriend and I think there's something about him farting? After work one day she meets this recluse and goes up to his apartment to use the bathroom. Apparently he's a famous author but she doesn't read much. She falls for him. His ex-wife/publicist turns up. He's been playing dead for the publicity and writes exclusively for notorieties sake. At the end the protagonist takes his manuscript with the publicist's help and pretends to be the author and the 2 of them go away to the beach together.
