searching for a specific series

the series i am trying to find is like mercy thompson and kate daniels in that it is an urban fantasy and has multiple types of supernatural creatures.

the key points that i remember is that in one of the books there is a character who can get women to become addicted to his kiss and during the course of that book the MC ends up accidentally stealing the power because it was caused by a silver artifact and she has a silver affinity partially caused by a silver contraception device that was put in against her will when she was a child. in another book a weather witch is out to get her and causes a tornado. throughout the series there are zombies made out of characters from film and television, and i don't think they are traditional zombies in that they don't eat flesh, they are entirely the character they were made out of.

i think the series takes in or near to Las Vegas, NV.

if anyone knows the series that i am looking for, please please please post it!!

I've only read the first one a really long time ago and it was tons of wacky fun. I thought the later books sounded kind of right for what you were looking for.

i thought that might be it a little bit ago and tried it. turned out it wasn't. it was a bummer but i couldn't get into the story either.

The only series that I can think of in Las Vegas is from Vicki Pettersson, her Signs of the Zodiac Series, but I don't think that is what you are looking for. It's a good one though.
