Yes! Though Diesel making an appearance in a regular novel will throw it off a little. I prefer him in his own series. I hope he doesn't take away time from Ranger or Morelli (and I definitely don't want to see this love triangle turned into a love square).
Brittany I completely agree with you. I'm a little nervous he'll steal the spotlight away. I like him in his series, but I feel like he doesn't belong in this series.
Brandy, how far did you get? I'm already on Chapter 15 (45%). I'm liking the book, but I must admit... I hate zombies.
Ummm so I didn't actually get to start it last night, tonight for sure. I was a total slacker yesterday, I didn't even make it to the gym.
I would totally take the deal Ranger offered. "If you can manage to keep in tact for a week it's yours. If it gets Stolen, Blown up, crushed by a garbage truck, set on fire, filled with cement or dies an untimely death by any other means I'll expect you to spend the night with me."You know that the zombies would fit your creature challenge
I think I know why I prefer Ranger, Morelli says they are together but if her really wanted her he would give her a real commitment, whether it be a ring, move in or even a formal title of girlfriend. at least Ranger is up front about it. And I think that if he were really going to loose her, he just might commit. I think Morelli would be more pissed that he lost the competition. Now Diesel , I think he is just trying to stir up some trouble. He isn't my favorite.
You know.. I almost added Diesel to our Love Triangle until he tells her that he's just not good for her.
I still like Morelli, but he does admit that he can't always protect her. Ranger isn't marriage material so that bothers me. I go back and forth every book between the two.

I get the feeling that Ranger could change. He would risk everything to save Stephanie, yet Morelli will just sit back and let Ranger save her. Morelli just likes being a bachelor.
done! So what did you think? seemed like the men had less significant role this time around. Maybe because there were more to compete? this needs to be a tv series.
I agree with you, it wasn't as focused on the men as usual. But I don't think that a bad thing. I think some people get all upset because she flips so much. Plus we had a third in the mix, probably too hard to fit into the story line.
I'll be honest, I swear I had deja vu during that whole scene with the gnomes. I swear there was another book where he wanted her back, and she had a restraining order and everything. That entire story.
Also, I agree. I wish this show were a TV series. I think HBO would do a great job with it.

I don't like the flip flop between men but at the same time they don't commit to her so why should she? now if there were a ring on her finger that would be totally different. Was your Deja vu in this series or another book all together? I am trying to recall.
You know we have so many Law and Orders or CSI, why not Stephanie and Lula take on NJ's criminals?
I'm thinking it was in this series, but a previous book. I don't know if maybe I read a tidbit of this book before it came out or if I'm just going crazy, but the entire story of him going to jail, him standing outside her door, everything was a deja vu.
I would love that!
I would love that!
maybe set up a year long buddy read for the series for next year? There are a lot of books but at least they are nice easy reads and lots of fun.
Yeah that works for me. They're such easy reads that you can jump in and out at any time throughout the year.
that is what I was thinking, and sometimes you just need something on the lighter side. Especially after reading heavy or dark disturbing books.
