I haven't read the lying game,but I enjoyes what I read of PLL. So I vote PLL.

PLL if you're ready to commit to all the books. You can read just the first 4, but I read 17/18. The Lying Game is a lot shorter, but I didn't even finish the first book. I thought it was boring after PLL.

I didn't like PLL at all. The show and the books dragged on for me. But The Lying Game was pretty interesting. I liked it.

To be honest, neither series is particularly well-written or compelling, but if you must read them I suggest reading The Lying Game first, considering that series is shorter than the other, and you can therefore see if the writing style is something you'd like to indulge in for the other, much lengthier series.

The Lying Game for sure. I gave up on PLL after the 4th or 5th book, I forget. I thought it was a waste of time, and too many books. The Lying Game is about 6 books I believe, and I liked all of them. Was, in my opinion, much more interesting.
