I've been reviewing books @www.wordnerddb.blogspot.com for a little over two years but lately it's been kinda boring for me. Any ideas to make it more fun?

I do blog features- a lot of people use Top Ten Tuesday, Waiting on Wednesday, etc., but I make up my own. Sometimes my features get visited more than my reviews, which is sad because it takes ten minutes for me to whip up my blog features for Sunday vs. spending a few hours re-reading (or a few days reading a new book) and perfecting the book critique.I also like to lurk and comment on fellow book blogger's blogs to see what they do to make things more interesting.
@ t what is your blog would love to look at it. to get ideas on how to make my blog better I have stopped for blogging for a while and am looking on ideas on how to revamp mine
Participate in Blog tours, cover reveals, blitz, ETc. Host giveaways. If you don't have money for it, ask around this group or others if there are authors that would like to donate books or swag. You can also participate in challenges, or create your own, and have other bloggers join in.
I know, that a lot of blogs are doing this, but that is what Blog followers really like to see. With that being said, I only do things that I like, and that my blog followers respond to.
I hope this helps.
I think everything has been said already but maybe changing your theme and blog appearance would make it less boring? I'm not saying your current theme looks bad, but I got bored with my blog a few months ago so I changed its appearance. Problem solved! :)
@Darlene, my blog is http://victoriansoulcritiques.blogspo... , but I only do features on Sundays. Personally, I'm not a fan of cover reveals and press blitzes, I tend to ignore them, especially when I'm on bloglovin' and multiple blogs have the exact same book, but I may be in the minority on that. I almost always click on reviews or features that interest me instead.
I also fiddle with my blog's appearance a lot when I'm bored, like Kayla mentioned.
I like to do read-a-thons too. I recently did one and I got to read a ton of books on my to-read list and I got my blogger mojo back. Since it is summer, there are a lot of them going on, but id you want an extra challenge you could host one yourself! It would keep you busy and being more viewers to your blog.
