Nominations open for September 2017 group read

Now that our read for August has been decided, it's time for everyone to nominate a book for our September 2017 read.

We are doing something a little different for 2017 monthly reads. Starting with January's read we are working our way backward in publication years :)

So - nominate a crime/mystery/thriller/suspense book which was published in 2008 for our September read. True crime or cosy mysteries are included in this :)

NOTE: Only the beginning of a series (if a series) please :)

This is one I put on my list after some top reviews. Not all editions say 2008, but this one does, I think. Malla Nunn's debut about South Africa (#1 in a series), A Beautiful Place To Die.

According to my googling, it was first published in 2008. It is on my TBR as well, so would be happy to go with this one, but I will look to see if there is another I can nominate :)
