Aylin wandered through, thinking. She'd joined the hunters but now she was paranoid literally all the time. What if artimis found out about her?
Chandler heard someone walking through the field. He was kind of hoping he wouldn't get found. He was really enjoying this alone time.
(It's ok. I went to sleep anyway)"Hi. " Aylin saw a hades child in amongst the plants. She might not have noticed him before, but now she was a hunter her senses seemed to have enhanced.
Chandler sits up. "Hey." He was slightly annoyed that e got found, but tried not to show it too much.
Aylin smiled. " what are you doing here? Hiding?" She figured that might be a bit strange but everyone needed some alone time.
"Yeah... The other campers don't really like me that much, so I do whatever I can to keep my distance."
"Ok. " she smiled. She hasn't seen this guy much so hopefully he didnt know much about her. But she was alone with him in a secluded part of camp...
Chandler smiled lightly back. "I'm chandler by the way." It was weird. This girl wasn't annoying him. In fact, he kind of liked her.
"Aylin. " she replied. She knew that campers usually said what their godly parent was but she didnt know what to say.
"I'm a son of hades by the way." Chandler didn't know why he felt the need to say that. It's really obvious who his godly parent but he said it anyway.
Aylin nodded, not offering one of her own. It was common knowledge that she'd ditched Apollo but she didnt want to say that.
Chandler could tell she didn't want to talk about her parent so he didn't ask, but he also didn't know what to say, so he just sat quietly hoping she would say something.
Aylin stood there awkwardly, thinking it would be rude to walk off, but not really knowing what to say.
"Oh ok. I would have figured you'd have been here longer. " she shrugged, not making a huge deal from it.
Aylin picked a berry from a nearby bush, popping it in her mouth. The fruit tenderly exploded with red, sweet juice.
"Er. Apollo. " she mumbled. Maybe if she gave away as little as possible he wouldn't realize who she was.
She glanced at him but said nothing. Maybe he was just trying to be nice, but Aylin was still very wary of boys.
She shrugged. She hoped he wasn't trying to flirt. Not that it sounded like he was; she was just panicky.
Chandler smiled lightly. He could tell that she didn't necessarily feel comfortable. He didn't really want to ask why. It probably had something to do with him. It usually did.
She took a step back. He was smiling, one part of her panicked. What if he was planning something. He's just being nice, the other part argued.
"ok." Chandler didn't really believe her, but didn't push the it. Chandler laid back down on the ground.
Aylin panicked more. He was lying down. Why was he lying down? She wasn't going mental, she was just very traumatic.
"Ok there's obviously something wrong..." Chandler said looking up at her. "And I'm guessing it has to do with me."
"Not you personally..." She blushed, wondering if she could get out of this one without bringing up her... Experience...
"Um. They are the opposite gender to girls. " she tried to keep it as factual as possible, not mentioning her emotions.
Wow, Chandler thought to himself, I'm really bad at this whole socializing thing."Nothing. That's the thing.. I'm not interested...." Chandler said. "in girls."
"I'm... gay." Chandler was surprised that he actually told her. He hadn't told anyone at camp or even his mom.
"Oh. Ok. " Aylin tried to figure this out. Was he reassuring her that he wasn't interested in her? Or only pretending so he could wait for his chance?
"You're actually the first person that I've told... My mom doesn't even know." Chandler sat up all the way and robbed his hands together nervously. Why was he opening up to this girl? It was weird. He didn't open up to anyone.
That sounded worrying. Why was he telling her then? The anxious part of her brain told her he was just trying to get close. Close enough to...
"And you're probably wondering why I told you...." Chandler wasn't even sure why he told. "Honestly... I have no idea why I told you..." He looked at the camp and ended up locking eyes with a really hot son of Hermes. The same son of Hermes that he's had a crush on for awhile. Chandler looked away and put his face in his hands to hide the fact that he was blushing
