Lieke | 1723 comments Not finished with my plan yet, but still unsure what to read this month.

I did already finish my first book All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris, because I read half of it yesterday. I'm very curious what will happen next (view spoiler).

Thanks Veronica, War of the Worlds was already on my plan last month, but I couldn't find my copy hopefully I will find it this month.

Lieke | 1723 comments Thanks Meera, I love her books but it was so long ago I read the first series. So now I'm rereading the first trilogy and then I want to read the Tawny man trilogy (I read the Liveship traders trilogy last year).

Lieke | 1723 comments Haven't kept this up-to-date.
Since my last post I read:
Min mormor hälsar och säger förlåt
Great book, so sweet and a little bit sad

De zonde van de vrouw
Ok little book

Marla Wolfsblad (Wolfblade)
It was good, but some characters where a little bit cardboard

And today I finished From Dead to Worse I loved this book (view spoiler). It wasn't as predictable as some of the books and that ending was great.

Lieke | 1723 comments I'm not good at keeping up-to-date this month.
How the Marquis Got His Coat Back by Neil Gaiman
Fun short story that reminded me that I need to reread Neverwhere.

Firmin by Sam Savage
Ok book, but I expected more

Grimm's Fairy Tales by Brothers Grimm
I have been reading a few stories every week for the last few weeks and finished it last week. A lot of the stories are very similar, so after a while it was a bit boring.

Lieke | 1723 comments And the last book for august was a reread: Wolfskin by Juliet Marillier.
I read it I think in 2005/2006 and hardly remembered a thing, so it was almost lik I read a new book. I liked it a lot, I didn't like all the characters Somerled is just nasty but sometimes I felt sorry for him. I think that is a sign of very well written characters.
And it was great to know the area in which the book is set, the Orkney Islands, so you knew what they where talking about.
