Alina - (view spoiler)[I like her. And I can understand completely why she did´t want the black Kefta, even though that would have been a privilege and to be honest cool. She seems to get along well at the new place. I hope she learns to control her power but it will probably take some time. (hide spoiler)]

I really like her friendship with Alina though. I hope they remain friends. I don't really know what to think of the Darkling yet. Obviously there's more to him than the stories say but he's not really showing it yet. And I wonder what Mal will think of Alina when they reunite. I usually don´t but I try to read a book with in a week. But that doesn´t always happen :)

Thank you. I´m glad someone is. Maybe we can read the second book some time or another book, and then we can start at the same time? It´s fun when you read with others and you can see what others think. I enjoy reading what you think, too.

I finished the book yesterday..

(view spoiler)[I feel stupid for ever liking the Darkling! I kept hoping he still turned out to be good. But no... I didn't really think the kiss came too fast because the attraction was there. But he didn't want to leave it at that and I'm glad she didn't sleep with him. That would have been wayyyy too fast!
I gave the book 4 stars. I loved the part when she got her powers back en fled with Mal and left them in the darkness. It was a good/ fun read but not great. I will continue with the series though. What did you think of the ending? (and i was right about boring stupid David haha :') ) (hide spoiler)]

I agree with your thoughts on the ending. That was pretty much what I thought. It was an okay read that got more eventful at the end. I liked that Mal found her and that they got closer again and they got to tell each other about their feelings. (hide spoiler)]
