A considerable amount of the book was devoted to Henry's story. Were there any revelations you found enlightening? What do you think impacted him more profoundly, shaping his perspective?

I thought his story was the most interesting aspect of the book. It was very surprising to learn that a woman was behind his decision to be a loner. Maria's perceived betrayal destroyed young Henry, more so than anything.
