So, Cork is no longer sheriff...again. Anyone surprised? You think he made the right choice?

Not really. I think he is doing it just for Jo but if he could be successful as a PI I guess he would be happy.

I'm not surprised after the last book where he really felt how he'd imperiled his family. I think he made the right choice...for now.

I'm not surprised either. After the events of the previous book, it makes sense he would no longer be sheriff. I do think it's the right choice for Cork.
