She looked at some of the books in his arms longingly, but obediently settled in a couch. "You're way overprotective. I can't even carry around books."

He smiled and sat next to her. "I just don't want you to get hurt..." He said quietly.

"Get what, a papercut? In that reasoning, I shouldn't have operated the stove this morning. I would have fallen in."

He smiled and kissed her cheek again. "I'm sorry."

She smiled back at him. "So, can I carry my books?"

He smiled. "Half of them. Okay?"

She snorted. "I'm not a pansy."

He smiled. "I never said you were."

She couldn't help but smile. "I can carry books."

He smiled. "Either I carry the books or you." He teased.

"I will!"

He smiled. "So I carry you?"

[Ilsa]

"Wh-aht? I want to carry the books!"

He explained. "I said either I carry the books, or I carry you." He smiled.

"I want to walk and carry the books."

He sighed. "Fine." He smiled.

She smiled, a victory.

He smiled at her, stubborn.

She collected all the books.

He smiled at her still. Weird, the stubbornness only made him like her more...

She packed them up, sitting down and reading a bit of Eragon.

He was already on Brisingr. Eragon's the best book in the world... He thought, smiling at her and got his book to read.

She curled up next to him, lost in the words.

He smiled, reading.

He put his arm around her, hopefully without her notice.

She didn't notice, reading intently.

He smiled, and read.

He was adorable.

She finished an hour's worth of reading.

He smiled. "Ready to go?" He asked.

She looked up. "Has it really been an hour?"

He smiled and took out his pocket watch. "Almost two."

"Oh!" she stood up. "I'm sorry!"

He smiled. "It's fine. We do have all day." He pointed out, arm limply by his side where she sat.

She kissed his cheek. "To the arcade?"

He smiled, cheek turning red. "To-" his voice cracked. He coughed. "To the arcade."

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?!" She got scared.

He smiled. "Now who's over protective?" He teased.

"Coughing is the first symptom..."

"Of the disease..." She looked close to frightened tears.
