Nikolai smirked, "You want to prove it?" He knew she hadn't seen every book, that would be impossible.

(( XP ))Nikolai walked up and down the shelves, trying to find a book that he hadn't read and surely she hadn't read either. He finally found a book that he was confident she hadn't read. Nikolai went back to Star, holding the book up. "How to take care of succulents?"
Star smirked "Ive seen that" she said, her eyes shinning behind her glasses.
Nikolai was in shock. "No way." He exclaimed, flipping through the book full of instructions and diagrams. "How do you have the patience to read through boring subjects?"
Lily laughed "I dont and never will. You said a book I have SEEN not read. I have seen that book before"
Nikolai was shocked, then laughed. "Loophole." He said, grinning.
Lily smiled "You know I always find them" She smiled at Nikolai.

Nikolai looked at her, confused. "But your eyes are amazing, why are you hiding them?" He blurted without thinking. Crap, did I actually say that? He thought to himself frantically.

"I mean, who knows? People wouldn't know whether you have nice eyes if you don't let people see them, right?" He said, looking at her.

Nikolai was stunned. He had always thought of Star as a childhood friend. They practically grew up together. But for the first time he was seeing her differently.

Nikolai was glad that she didn't put the sunglasses back on. "You don't need those anymore." He stated, sticking his hands into his pockets, a habit he always had.

Ava walked into the library, it was the closest place she could find in the pure darkness of the power outage, she shivered as the last breeze of chilly air swept in. She glanced around, it was dark, anything could be in here, anyone. She touched the axe that rested at her side and took a few silent steps into the dark room, if she could find some books on plants and bring them home that would be great....
Adrianna slept on the rug beneath on of the tables. She had fallen asleep several hours ago, shortly after the power went out. For a while she had read using the pocket flashlight she carried, but didn't want to use all of its power in case she needed it more later.

Ava glanced around, silently walking and listening closely, she waiting for her eyes to adjust more and focused on the dark. She was guided by memories of the library as she slinked into the botany section of books. She rested her fingers on the books, slipping them over each cover as if she were reading Braille. Suddenly a book crashed to the ground when her gentle fingers knocked it off balance, she tensed and crouched closer to the ground, she looked around cautiously and picked up the book.
Adrianna woke when she heard the crash break the silence. She sat up quickly and bashed her head on the underside of the table. She cringed as she massaged the top of her head. She had forgotten about falling asleep under the table. The sound of falling books that had awoken her meant that somebody else was here. "Hello?" Adrianna called into the darkness. She dug in her coat pocket and found the flashlight. "Hello?" she called again, shining the beam of light onto the shelves around her.
