She hated being around him, he made her doubt everything she said. His presence just had that effect on her, but she kept that to herself. "I'm special that way."

She moved one leg behind her to offer balance and to prepare for flight if anything escalated, "So before you make the biggest mistake of your life are you going to answer?"
Cynthia fell to ground, the bullet grazed her arm and was not gushing blood out from it's wound. She cursed loudly before firing without checking to see where her target was. Ripping her shirt she ducked behind a bookshelf and tied it around her arm to stop the blood in it's tracks, "I'll heal that in a moment..." She got up again and keeping her left gun pointed up in the air and her right straight in front of her.
He flitted in and out of sight through the dimly lit shadows of the rafters, landing briefly on one to aim and fire at her again.
She dodged the bullet and smiled at herself. This was not what she expected today, but she must fight for life. There was no way she was going to die, not this way, not now. Cynthia stood where the bullet landed and shot back at him, this time aiming at her target hoping that it will get him.
Cynthia ran out of the library door and slammed it behind her. She moved to the side and pulled off the cloth covering her wound, and bit her lower lip. She reached inside her wound and pulled the bullet out of her arm. The pain was unbearable. So to keep herself from screaming out she bit harder down causing it to bleed. In a few seconds her wound began to heal itself.
Once it was healed she ran off to find another place to settle down for the day. Before she left though, she called out with her hands in the air, "I'm still alive!"
He rolled his eyes, sitting down on the rafter. He didn't really care all that much. He had other things on his mind. Shaid, for instance, and their strange "discussion".
Heleman dangled his legs from the rafter on which he sat, inconspicuous among the shadows which had become his fellows. He kept turning over the strange things Shaid had said in his mind. My magic doesn't affect you...I tried to give you indigestion and short term memory loss...why do you think I carry a sword?...you have great talent, but its going to waste...
Felix hurried inside the library, shaking out the rain from his hair and attempting to get rid of the water from his clothes. He slowly calmed down, not being able to take his eyes away from the horror that was happening outside.
Axel ran in after him and threw her bag on the floor. She moved her wet hair out of her eyes not caring how it looked at the moment. She grabbed her bag and placed her hand inside it gently wrapping her fingers around the clear vial. Who knows who could be hiding in here. She licks her lips and looks at him, "Do you think some is in here? There's fresh blood on the floor and on some books..."
She followed the blood trail curious to see where it began or ended. Axel waved him over, "I think this is where they got shot. I wonder if the person who shot them are still here...what do you think?" She looked around the room holding the vials closer to her. Whoever is here, if they are here, is not s friendly person if blood was involved.
"Axel. We come in peace!" She holds her free hand up the way people always used to say peace to aliens, "Who are you?"
She dropped her bag startled at the fire. So I guess I found out my earlier question: he's still here. Axel picked up her bag and seems that one of her vials was broken. She sighed and threw it on the floor, "I wouldn't touch that if I were you, not until a couple of minutes though." Although, she secretly wanted him to touch it. Let the idiot die... She smiled to herself, "I control bacteria, viruses."
Felix was still shaken up from the rain, hurrying after Axel blindly. When she said she was an OTW, he stared at her. No way; weren't they supposed to be enemies? He knew he should have asked who she was before they became acquaintances. Felix saw the vial on the floor in curiosity. He jumped when he heard the gun shot. "Oh, uh, STW." Felix said carefully, shooting Axel a wary look.
Felix hesitated. "None, I guess." He shrugged, not even bothering to lie since he was such a horrid liar.
"Geez, you didn't have to shot at us, you'll just create enemies and who wants enemies?" Axel kicked the broken vial across the room and flinched at the cracking sound as it slid. She grabbed her other vial from the bag, but didn't pull it out. The cold, thin glass felt good in her fingers and eased her mind. She glanced back at Felix and smiled weakly.
Axel gave Heleman a weird look, "We never said that you were.... Anyways, what about you? Your name, faction, and power?"
"What about your faction? I'm guessing your power is flight..." She raised her voice to make she he heard everything she was saying.
She looked back at Felix hoping that he knew what to say at this very moment. WTS are always the harshest people she ever met in her opinion and she made sure to watch Heleman at all times.
He scooted off the rafter and landed on his feet on a bookshelf, looking down at them. Now that he was in the light, it was obvious that he couldn't be more than 13 years old.
Axel stared at him as he stood in front of them, "You don't look too old." After she said this she wondered if she should of mentioned it out loud or kept it to herself. He could be sensitive about his age, plus he did shot at them and he could if he took the remark the wrong way. She honestly just thought out loud, it was something she always did.
"I'm sorry Heleman, I truly am. I didn't mean it that way. I just took a out loud note that I should have kept to myself," she glanced down at the broken vial. She meant what she said, and felt bad for it. Also seeing the vial again angered her, these bacteria didn't deserved to die this way. She could have saved them, but now it was too late...
"Oh, so you're not the ghost of a kid trying to kill us, thank god." Felix muttered, keeping one eye on Heleman's gun and the other on the strange vial.
"Nope!" Axel smirks at Heleman, "I don't even think they exist. If they did, wouldn't we be surrounded by them? After all, a lot of people did die..."
"A lot...Is an understatement." Felix laughed sarcastically, finally feeling like himself again after drying off from the rain. "Anyway, are you going to add us to that list of dead people or not?" He asked Heleman, getting tired of this game.
Axel glared at Felix, she didn't want to be added to that list. Why would he even ask that? She just couldn't believe it, all she came here was to get of the rain. She would have actually stayed in the rain safe from harm if she wasn't persuade by Felix. "Yeah, adventuring isn't so safe Felix..." Axel sighed grabbing ahold of a couple more vials in her bag but not pulling them out just yet.
