Mapledream {Rose Gold} | 199 comments ((So sorry!! I have to go and wont be able to post for a bit.))

Mapledream {Rose Gold} | 199 comments Dustin gave her a hard stare. He was wearing a semi-worn black leather jacket as always. Under it he had a plain dark brown shirt. He was wearing jeans but his feet were bare. Dustin had woken up late and had to rush to get to this shift guarding the pretty little angel. His dark brown hair fell around his face messily, yet it looked quite nice. He stared a Arianna. She seemed to glow in the dark, musty dungeon. He saw the dried blood and bruises but chose to ignore that for now. It was a shame that such a beautiful treasure was being abused. "How long until they frame you in the main hall?" He asked smugly. He grabbed a rusty chair a pulled it underneath him, never taking his eyes off her. He felt as if he had been put under a spell by her beauty. This was only his second time guarding Arianna. Dustin had been off messing around with his friend Drake and had barely been home. His father who owned the place got angry with him and was being punished severely. He had to cook, clean, and do every other miserable chore the place had to offer or worse would come.

Mapledream {Rose Gold} | 199 comments Dustin gave the angel a curious look. It was like she didn't have a soul. How could angels not have a soul? For Demons it made sense but angels, not so much. He stared at her intensely as she ate the food. "What's your name?" He asked. Angels had names right? They couldn't be that different from Demons. Actually it occurred to him that nobody knew her name. Everyone only said to go guard the treasure, the angel, and the girl. After a little longer he said, "Im Dustin by the way." He sat and waited, but this was a lot more boring than he realized. It's great to watch the girl, but all she does is sit there and eat. She doesn't even talk either. Is it so wrong for an angel to strike up conversation with a demon? Probably because they were pure and demons were well... not. He rested his head against the bars of the cell door and stared at the floor for a bit. "You know," he said breaking the silence, "Youre quite boring." He looked up to see if she would react. Hopefully talk.

Dustin stood up and accidentally knocked over his chair when she glowed. He fumbled around but eventually got to picking it up and sitting back down. He literally gasped when she talked. Her voice was as beautiful as her and she was probably the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. "You-you can talk." Dustin stuttered, amazed. "Everyone said they've never heard you talk." He let in sink in that this was probably the first time she's talked. And of all people she talked to him. He would be lying if he said that didn't make him feel good or important. Why did it matter if an angel thought he was important? She didn't matter right? Oh, but it felt good to feel important to someone even if it was coming from his head. "I'll take the bar off after you tell me your name." He compromised. He didn't want to seem too eager or too soft. He was still a demon and she was still his prisoner after all.

Mapledream {Rose Gold} | 199 comments Dustin studied her. This was an interesting deal she was making. He thought for a moment, stroking his chin. If he was perfectly honest he just wanted to go back out into the world, free from his father. If anything he could use a friend, but he didn't think she could give him that or could she... "Yeah Im pretty up on the ranks." He said, answering her question about him being an important guard. "My father is dude who owns this place." He bragged even though he loathed the fact every moment of his life. He didn't want to grow up to own this. He didn't even have any other siblings so all his fathers attention was on him. "I'm going to inherit it one day." He continued but this time a hint of sadness crept into his voice. He looked away and let a bit of an awkward pause in. He stared at her. She was beautiful. Everything about her glowed and it was breathtaking. "What do I want?" He murmured to himself, thinking carefully. After a moment he decided she couldn't give her anything he wanted, not yet at least. "Nothing from you." He said casually. "There's really not anything you can do you for me. At least no yet. So let's say if I need to cash in a favor, you owe me some. Deal?"
