techie help with Wordpress

When I click on my wordpress blog to write something, the 'write' page opens, slowly displays and then comes up with a red warning bar which says

Cannot read property '_currentElement' of null

it won't let me write anything and the page doesn't load properly

cleared the cache, switched the computer off, got a coffee, switched it back on and this time it worked
