I've already read all of John Green's novels (avid nerdfighter :3) and I'm kind of at a slump right now. Any good contemporary recommendations (or just good YA books in general)?

I recommend reading Don't Look Back I thought it was a great book. It is about getting a second chance to be a better person.
I really liked The Age of Miracles. I read it around the same time as the TFiOS. It is kind of science-fiction-y I suppose, but I thought it was very interesting. It is told from a young girl's perspective and it really makes you think about what life would be like if we had to experience a natural disaster.
I loved TFIOS so I went and bought the John Green box collection... I am going on vacation to the beach Saturday and want to take a book with me for the plane and stuff... which one should I read next?? Paper Towns, An Abundance Of Katherines, or Looking For Alaska?
After I finished tfios I read The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider. It was super amazing and had that amazing super smart and honest feel John Green books gave me. You should definitely check it out!
I am now currently reading Torment. The second novel in the Fallen series.
The best YA book I have ever read is HOPELESS, anyone read that here?
