The entire book is my favorite Isabel and cole moments!I couldn't choose one because each character has moments when they contribute more and give us more insight to their relationship.
Cole is my absolute favorite character in the series! His relationship with Isabel is so well written. Even though I really enjoy reading from Grace's and Sam's perspectives, I always find myself looking forward get back to Cole and Isabel. I practically swoon each time they interact. I cannot wait for my copy of Sinner to get here. Wherever Cole and Isabel are going next I am excited to follow.
My favorite Cole and Isabel moment is when she finds him in her house.I remember that she thought he was cute and he thought the same of her.
THE PART WHERE SAM AND GRACE DRIVE OUT UNDER THE STARS AND THEN THERE ARE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS AND THEN SHE ASKS HIM ABOUT MARRIAGE AND AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH MY FEELS THERE!!!!!!!!!SO BEAUTIFUL! I CRIED IN HAPPINESS!!!!!!
Did any one else cry at the end of this book when they realized it was the last one in the series? I did. I was soooooo happy when I found out about sinner. Who else has already pre-ordered it?
YES!!!! OMG I CRIED SO MUCH!!! and then the aclnowledgements, cried again.and then she was like
Sinner!
and I was like
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH OMG OMG OMG OMG OMASLHJHMXEKHSND>FXJHNSKCRHMXJRCHNSCKJHNSCKJHLKMJSDHKJRCHNSAKMJRHNLKAJH
COLSABEL!!!!!!
WE FINALLY GET TO KNOW THEIR STORY AND WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!!!! :D :D :D :D
and then I got told off for yelling in the house. :/
XD but hey! I was so excited! he he he
biggest plot twist ever="Da," said Cole.
and I was like. OMG HE'S ALIVE!!!!! and then I cried in relief.
Everything from "Cole, do you think I'm lovable?" to "I can't tell the difference between not fighting and giving up." RIPS MY HEART OUT. I connect to Isabel on such an insane level, and Cole is such an egotistical guy with a sweet center.
You've all referenced SO MANY great Cole/Isabel moments! We just got to the part in Forever when Sam and Cole find Grace in the sinkhole and have to rescue her.
One aspect of Forever that we're really enjoying is how Maggie is getting more in-depth with the pack dynamics of the wolves. Why do you think Shelby still has it out for Grace?
And what were you thinking during the rescue scene? We love how Sam and Cole are finally able to make peace a little bit. As Sam says, "how long it takes us, each day, to know each other."
It's also a pivotal moment for Cole, as he finally realizes: "I had never really considered that it was a privilege to die as Cole and not as something else."
Who or what do you think are the biggest influences on Cole's path back toward wanting to live? Have you always been rooting for him?

Cole was such a needed character. Sam is adorable but he can be so useless sometimes. I love how Cole is so driven to find the science behind being a werewolf...maybe because I am a scientist myself. And, during the scene where they are trying to rescue Grace, I knew Cole was the answer and that's why Sam just threw himself into the sinkhole without thinking about consequences, he is more heart than brain...Cole is the opposite. So that brings me to my point, when Cole gets into the sinkhole to help rescue Grace, it was such a "Sam" thing to do that I loved it. So for me, Sam is most of the magic behind Cole's change of heart
I think one of my favorite parts is when he is going over all the voicemails he's left her and how they range from the commical to very deep and person then right back to the random. It kinda shows even more just the type of person he is and how he feels about her and that she has clearly gotten to him.
That was my favorite Cole and Isabel moment too. The whole conversation and then the kiss to top it off. I think Cole's change of heart comes from the whole dynamic of what he is in the middle of. Seeing Sam and Grace together, and then how even Isabel reacts with them. I also think he realizes he is truly needed and can make a real difference- To heal, not destroy. Most importantly his thoughts at the end- how ironic now that he cares, all he cares for could be taken away.On the Shelby note- I think she was so envious of the close relationships between Sam and Beck, and Sam and Grace it made her snap. She couldn't understand the closeness because she'd shut herself down long ago, so instead she'd destroy it. Especially with Grace because of her humanity.
I actually think that loosing Victor is a HUGE turning point for Cole, because it turns him on the path for trying to DO something about his situation and reflect on the mistakes he's made so far.And the sink hole part I think is crucial in forming that little group of Sam, Grace, Isabel and Cole and the first time they realise that they have something they need to do together and they can only do it if they all contribute.
We're finishing up Forever today, and OMG guys, there is SO much to talk about in these last pages!
What were you thinking during the scene in which Beck shifts? (We started crying as soon as he said, "And please forget all about me...")
How about the decision to let Rachel and Koenig in on the wolves' secret? (We always knew Koenig was a good guy at heart.)
And Grace and Sam finally reuniting as wolves? (Loved it!)
Ok, and "Da."?? (Best plot twist!)
What are some of your other favorite final moments from Forever? Here's what our books look like after this month - who else marked their favorite lines/parts?

When Sam told Grace as she finally turns into a wolf at the hospital that he would find a cure for her and that they would be together
The part where Beck shifts was torture, but I'm glad it happened so Sam could have some closure. Sam accepting that Beck screwed up, but he still loved him and that was okay. I think Koenig knowing was a great touch, and Rachel is really the most innocent of the group. It was nice to see her reaction to Grace. I hate that Isabel moved away right when she had found good friends. Can't wait for Sinners. This was a wonderful idea. By the way I have check out this author on YouTube recently and she is crazy talented!
I have to agree with the plot twist. The first time I read it I had to do one of those weak laugh sob things when you're a spluttering mess while reading.I was like, OMG HE'S ALIVE!!! and then cried with relief.
he he "regrowing my spleen or whatever."
LOL COLE!!!

One of our favorite aspects of this book is the development of Cole and Isabel's relationship. They're both such sharp, angry characters, and we can't get enough of their back-and-forth. Or, sometimes, total avoidance of each other. Do you have any favorite Cole/Isabel moments from Forever?
As a reminder, Sinner comes out in ONE WEEK! Grace and Sam's story ends in Forever, but Cole and Isabel continue in Maggie's latest book.
We've also got a great giveaway of 10 copies of Forever here! (US only, though Scholastic Canada will likely be posting a giveaway soon!)
