Illuminae Discussion ~ 7/30/17 ~ Do you think Illuminae was hard to read?

In Illuminae, it was a little difficult to read the story sometimes because there would be text with a line through it or totally blacked out text. Do you think that made the book harder to read, and therefore worse, or do you think they made the story more fun to read, and made it better?

I believe the blacking out of profanities added a sort of humor that it wouldn't have if they simply just wrote down the words, and it was kind of fun to fill in the blanks.
