Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) We've decided to switch things up this month and choose a book from the '100 novels everyone should read' according to The Telegraph.

This month's book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I read this one a few years ago as part of my English Literature course and although I really didn't enjoy it at the time, I feel that if I reread it I would have a different opinion now I'm not studying it.

People class this as a romance but I'd say it definitely isn't. It's more a dysfunctional family history and it has some intriguing characters.

Tania | 54 comments I read this last year and didn't enjoy it because I pretty much hated every character. I don't think of any of them had any redeeming features. Charlotte, I agree that it wasn't a romance, and that's a great way to describe it. That said, I'm glad I read it, but I might just find a TV adaption to watch for this.

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I'm thinking of listening to this on audiobook now that I have a long commute to work and I'm actually looking forward to experiencing the story again now I know what to expect.
