Would you read a memoir with this type of cover?

I hope this is okay to post here. I'm trying to find out if this cover would appeal to memoir readers or if it's too different from what's out there. The image of the woman would be replaced by an image of myself.



Or should I stick to something more simple like this:



Please let me know your thoughts!

I suppose if you want to appeal to women have the top one if you dont mind all genders reading your book have the bottom one.

I like the first one with the photo. It is more appealing to me and I would it give it a second look. The second one I think I would bypass unless it came highly recommended.

I think the second one is too generic and doesn't catch the eye. I would like the top one if it is a picture of you and not just the eye. The way it is right now it looks like a romance book at first glance.

I think the first cover strongly suggests the contents are fiction. The second one fits better with what's inside.

Thank you so much for the feedback!! I had concerns about the first one not fitting the genre so it really helps to have that confirmed by some of you. Although most liked the first, I've decided to go with the second version. I've updated it (below) to make it more eye-catching as that was something that needed to be changed based on feedback :)
