@Lisa Kay#9. I'm not sure - it doesn't say so outright. I'd never heard of a Hellfire Club before this book. I learned something I could have lived without knowing.
#15. I'm 90% sure he isn't.

(Sorry about the info on #9.)

Oy sorry about that!
Lauren wrote: "Oy sorry about that!"LOL! Thanks for the Tums. This is what happens sometimes when a vegan deviates and eats fish.
Sorry guys but I can't answer any of the DQs as I can't remember what was covered in those chapters, and I don't want to give up any new information accidentally. I knew this would happen when I finished the book!!I will jump back in again when you guys are done reading.
I have had a look and there is only one other book in this series. So disappointed there aren't any more :( I really enjoyed this one and hoped for at least a four book series.
@ Lauren#21 – Good point. You said it better than I did.
#23 – Ah. Yes, that briefly crossed my mind.
#24 – Ditto.
#26 – Well said.
Lisa Kay’s DQs for Chapter 16 – Epilogue
Just a couple of rap-up questions, not in any chronological order.
(view spoiler)
@Lisa Kay #24 - Yes. I was also surprised at that. I would have liked to find out more about him and his relationship with Julia. Disappointed there are only 2 books :0(
#25. Lol! Suspension of disbelief!
#29. Yeah. I didn't believe that about face either. Way too convenient.
Lauren's Answers to Lisa Kay's DQs for Chapters 16-Epilogue39. I had it narrowed down to Young or Wilhelm and the latter came across as smarmy rather than sick.
40. It was a pretty good plan but I'm still amazed it went so well. The Ghoul seems too smart to fall for it though.
41. That was OK to me. They called Dunston who was on his way and actually only Aiden went in when Taylor came out running. Although not an official police officer, he did have the training.
42. Running was the smart thing to do and I hope I would be able to and not freeze in fear.
43. Not surprised. That girl had a backbone of steel! So glad that she was taken in by the Kirbys. She deserves happiness.
44. Yes, I did like that she didn't hide it from him. I hate silly misunderstandings that stem from that type of action.
45. I'm glad that we learned the truth even if it wasn't wrapped up. Evil woman!
46. I liked the characters, especially Vonnie, Taylor, Aiden and Lexie. The romance was alright but not the most intense I've read - the suspense plots in Cynthia Eden's RS are similar although the romantic elements in her books are better. I also enjoyed Aiden and Lexie's banter.
47. Yes.
@ Lauren#39 – You’re so clever.
#40 – Yeah.
#41 – Good point about his training; I’d forgotten that.
#42 & #44 – Ditto!
#46 – Yes, I like CE’s books. I think I have another one on audio I haven’t listen to, yet. Must check. Yes, I enjoyed the banter between Aiden & Lexie. I thought they made a nice couple.
#47 - Maybe a "buddy read" in a month or two?

I know. If I wasn't doing the buddy read, I'd be done by now. Something tells me that when I get closer to the end, I won't be able to put it down.
