I read this after watching the British three-part TV miniseries based on this book. The TV series is excellently done - constumes and acting were amazing. It really helped me picture things when I then read the book.
I found this book the old fashioned way, at a local bookstore. I started reading it off the shelf and found it fascinating. The next thing I was at a cash register, and I left with book in hand. The story was incredible researched and written. I’ve read many books on science and mathematics, Longitude is near the top of my list.
