I read this after watching the British three-part TV miniseries based on this book. The TV series is excellently done - constumes and acting were amazing. It really helped me picture things when I then read the book.

I found this book the old fashioned way, at a local bookstore. I started reading it off the shelf and found it fascinating. The next thing I was at a cash register, and I left with book in hand.

The story was incredible researched and written. I’ve read many books on science and mathematics, Longitude is near the top of my list.

If you liked the book, you really have to see the TV series. I thought it was even better, though it didn't explain many of the technical details as in-depth.
