Joel (joeldick) | 18 comments I read this after watching the British three-part TV miniseries based on this book. The TV series is excellently done - constumes and acting were amazing. It really helped me picture things when I then read the book.

Howard P (howard_pavane) | 2 comments I found this book the old fashioned way, at a local bookstore. I started reading it off the shelf and found it fascinating. The next thing I was at a cash register, and I left with book in hand.

The story was incredible researched and written. I’ve read many books on science and mathematics, Longitude is near the top of my list.

Joel (joeldick) | 18 comments If you liked the book, you really have to see the TV series. I thought it was even better, though it didn't explain many of the technical details as in-depth.
