Christos | 219 comments There are too many connections to list so lets just state what our favorites are. My favorite connection is that one of the main characters of the series Jake Chambers is Danny Torrance from the Shining but from another dimension. Minor Spoiler Alert ahead!!!!!

They both have the Shining but in the Dark Tower they call it the touch

The connections between The Stand and Wizard and Glass

Wait, was that ever made explicit? Because it's not like people with those kinds of gifts are unique in King's work. Dick Hallorann in The Shining has it too, and Ted Brautigan from Hearts in Atlantis has a similar gift.

As for my favorite connections, I'd go with those between 'Salem's Lot and Wolves of the Calla/Song of Susannah.

Mer | 205 comments I've always been fascinated by the Low Men and wondered at the history of them. I've not been interested in Hearts of Atlanta until I heard they're in this book so it's now on my to-read list.
I've also enjoyed the link between The Dark Man here and in The Stand's Randall Flagg. He's in other stories, correct?

Sean | 367 comments His only other explicit appearance is in Eyes of the Dragon, though it's kind of assumed that any mysterious, nasty character with the initials "R. F." is almost certainly him.

Lena The Low Men with their Animal faces and their odd religion. Was it that they thought they would be the next humans or the next to inherit the earth?

I want a book about North Central Positronics and the Guardians..

Amy Ayers | 23 comments I love that where Eddie and Rolland Cross over to Fedic is off Turtleback Lane and the house is "Cara Laughs". This was of course the haunted house in Bag of Bones.

I like the more subtle connections. I feel like King puts them in as treats to his most loyal read everything you wrote.

****SPOILER ****

Far less subtle I like that the boy from Insomnia is the one who actually helps Roland breach the tower.

Mer | 205 comments Sheemie Ruiz from Wizard and Glass seems alot like, but not the same person, as Tom Cullen. One seems to travel thru time physically and the other can see things mentally. Also Tom is similar to the main character in The Dead Zone, in their mental abilities.

While finding the spelling of Sheemie's name I saw a mention in Wikipedia that Charlie the Choochoo also appears in The Cell, which I'm not familiar with.

Kev (sporadicreviews) | 667 comments Not having read any other SK at this point, the only thing I caught was "thinnies" which showed up in later seasons of the SYFY tv series Haven, based on a SK story which I haven't read (The Colorado Kid).

Really? I've read most everything King has done and never picked up on that? Not saying your wrong, he's written a ton and I could have easily missed it and would just like to know where so next time I catch it.
