Hey guys. I kinda want to try a role play. I've never done one before. Would anyone be willing to teach me?
Of course Maddie! Pretty much all you do is create a character on the character creation thread. Once you do that you can write kind of an introduction of your character doing something in the town. One of our characters will join your character and we can start friendships and stories.
Yesterday one of our friends offered me an internship at Cal Tech, (California Institute of Technology a really highly though of smart person school), as his assistant person. He works in a DNA research lab and it is a SUPER awesome opportunity. :D I'm kinda excited about this opportunity because it will look amazing on college applications, and it is just wonderful experience that most people don't get. The only reason I would be hesitant about it is because I am not a natural genius. I have to work hard for good grades and stuff like math doesn't come naturally to me. I don't know if I will do it or not, but we'll see. :)

I have some exciting news!! It isn't set in stone, but I really wanted to tell you guys. In fall of 2017 I'm planning on going to a missions school in Alaska. I feel like God is calling me to go there and I'm really excited about it :)

I was homeschooled but I'm starting private school tomorrow.

Guys, my sisters, cousin and I all got self defense lessons today taught by this awesome lady! It was so interesting, fun, and helpful. I kind of want to get longer term self defense lessons now.

I'm in 11th. Isn't that weird. :) My brother moved to Tennessee for college last week. It is really weird not having him here. It's so much quieter here, not that much though, (my sister and I are pretty loud). :D

On this outreach younger teens can get the same kind of experience as descipleship training school, but condensed into 11 days. That's awesome! I love hearing about more and more people going. I just heard about it earlier this year when my cousin decided to go. And I've just started reading the book Is That Really You, God? which is about the man who started ywam and it's been really helpful:)
Oh, that sounds like a good book. I think a DTS would be great for my faith.
The program I took was called reclaim. The YWAM staff in Vancouver set it up for teens who want to be apart of missions but are to young. It was the most uplifting thing I've ever done and I can only imagine what a DTS would be like.
I have a bit of this idea in my head of what it'll be like after seeing my cousin's pictures and videos, but in reality, my experience will probably be much different than hers :)) It probably won't be anything like I expected it to be haha
I think this is really sweet that you are doing YWAM. I have certainly thought about doing it after Uni, but I will have to see where God leads me :)
My mom and sisters and I are thinking about going to Spain to help with an English summer camp. We know missionaries there. it is just an idea, though. But I think it would be super exciting!
