Grace wrote: "Haha nooo I thought that was a southern thing!"No, I think it's mid western? Down here in the South we call it soda or we call every kind of soda "coke."
Maddison wrote: "Haha alright :p Well I'll just leave them :'("You don't have to leave it just makes me laugh! :D It's because I don't expect to see your comments hahaha
Maddison wrote: "That's weird, calling everything Coke."For us, it's just a general term like Kleenex, or Band-Aid.
I love hearing what other places call things! But right now I'm blanking and can think of literally 0 hahaha
Also, I love having bookish friends on Snapchat so if anyone wants to friend me, my username is JacquelynRose94 :D
On things that have different names in different locations 😂 Like pop and soda. & Oh that's awesome, I would love to go there someday! And just any place outside of the U.S. hahaha

We don't call tissues Kleenex. We just call them tissues.

I'm from England and sorry I'm slacking guys. I was hoping to have Morning Star finished by now but it's taking longer than I expected. However I do have a review to upload for Shiver so that should get us some points. Come on guys we can do this. And I agree we need to stay in front of Vienetta.. sorry Maddie😆x
I just finished
@Elizabeth Emily Ooo I've always wanted to visit there! I've only been to France and Italy.
I'm heading to bed it's 5am here, and I haven't slept yet. The last couple of months I've read about 9 books a month, but I've already finished two. So we'll see, hopefully, I'll read more this month.
Okay we're now 4th but we're not that far behind and Sarah missed one of our reviews off so we have got more points than it says, come on team we can do this. 😌

You've failed :p We're up from second-last to 2nd (I think) XD I'm loving this competition though! It's always so helpful!

I'm slowly reading my book. I'm hoping I'll get through it by today. Tomorrow at the latest. I'm from the South. South Carolina, to be exact. Right now, I'm at the beach and the house across from us has some weird people who are from New York. They are strange. Quick question (it's kinda weird): do girls in the north shave their armpits? The girl across the street from won't shave her armpits and we can't figure out why.
Jacquelyn wrote: "Klancy, that sounds great! Just let me know when you'd want to read them!"Which of the three would you want to read first? I'm honestly up for either of them!
I'm not sure how long it will take us to finish
, but we can definitely start something else after it!I'm from the Midwest and we call it pop. It's weird for me even to think about it as soda. XD
That's cool Carolyn! I'm from Kentucky. 😃Klancy, let's read The Chemist and then maybe Truthwith? The chemis is a pretty pig book, about the size of Twilight. So we can get a good amount of points
I've got work 5 till probably just past midnight so I've completed Aurabel which was another 300 pages this morning and if I'm not too tired when I get home I'll try and make some more progress with Morning Star. I will also be starting the iron warrior soon. I'm hoping to have Morning Star done by Monday which will be another 5/600 points. Come on guys we got this. 💪🏻😌
Just found an edition for Morning Star with 912 pages and I haven't looked through them all yet👌🏻💪🏻 yessssss
Oh, don't worry, I do too! Especially when it comes to Maddie. 😂😂I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels competitive.
Speaking of which I subscribed to their notifications for their review page so I can keep checking their score. 😂
Don't worry. I'll post all my reviews tomorrow as soon as I can get to my computer. The Mystery of Hollow Places only have 290-300 pages. I have to check the other editions. I'm 128-129 pages in. Let's keep up the good work!
Haha I'm subscribed to the three teams review threads that are ahead of us so I can keep an eye on the scores just to see what kind of margin we are looking at 😂
