Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments Carolyn, I can read quite a bit. 😊

Thank you all for the warm welcomes!

Also, Carolyn and Klancy-I'd be willing to buddy read for Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1) by Susan Dennard and Replica (Replica, #1) by Lauren Oliver if you all want!

message 52: by Carolyn (new)

Carolyn | 2247 comments @Jacquelyn- I'm reading Replica right now! It's so good. I'm half way done with it. I would suggest to start with Lyra's story then Gemma's.

@Klancy- Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I was confused by the decimal points.

@Everyone- I'm 284 pages in out of 500 pages. I will post ALL my reviews on Sunday or Monday. Either one. :)

I would love to buddy read Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1) by Susan Dennard ! Yesss to more points. πŸ™ŒπŸ» When would you want to start?

I just got home from work so I'm going to start reading Seeker again. Really hoping it gets better because the beginning was a little shaky. πŸ˜…

message 54: by Carolyn (new)

Carolyn | 2247 comments I'm 74% done with Replica. I'm going to take a quick break, then read some more.

Elizabeth Emily Browne (snakesandladderrs) | 2186 comments I finish work in half an hour so as soon as i get home I will be reading some more of Morning Star. Completing Harry Potter Blocks is going to be difficult. Hopefully I can keep up this pace.

message 57: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments Klancy, my fiance is bringing me Truthwitch (I'm out of town) on Saturday. So anytime after that. :)

Klancy Hoover-Davis | 1333 comments Grace wrote: "@Klancy the 4th is good! I'll request a thread!"

Perfect. I'm so excited to read it because I absolutely loved Graceling!

@Elizabeth Emily - I feel it. I'm also completing Bookish Blocks and it's hard finding books that fit all of the requirements of the squares.

@Jacquelyn - Would August 7 work for you? I should be done with Fire (Graceling Realm, #2) by Kristin Cashore by then!

message 71: by Klancy (new)

Klancy Hoover-Davis | 1333 comments @Grace and Jacquelyn - I compared some of our books to see if we had any in common and I found a few:

Sweet Evil (Sweet, #1) by Wendy Higgins The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss

Would you guys want to buddy read any of them later in the month for points?

Of course, if we do anyone is able to join! These were just the three books I found that the most people had in common. :)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments How should I do the page count for pages not read in August? When I post a book would I just subtract that amount of pages from the post?

I'm reading a book right now and only about 80 pages were read at the end of July.

message 79: by Jacquelyn (new)

Jacquelyn Simon (jacquelynrose94) | 2166 comments I have 107 pages left of Scarlet. I'm not sure if I'll finish tonight or after I wake up. πŸ€”
