Hi, I'm really excited to get started. This is my first challenge.

I already started my first book today "One of us is lying" :)
I joined a fun team this month because I am going in vacataion this month. But i normally read a lot of books for challenges :)

Good and you? :D atm I'm reading "the boy in the striped pajamas" but I try to finish that soon so I can start with "the handmaids tale" what about you? :) also I just woke up and might make some porridge xD
Porridge <3 Where are you from? I'm on my way to a meeting, being unemployed is no fun. Oh, I love that movie. Still haven't read the book. I just started a thriller, Lie With Me.
Have you seen the TV show for A Handmaid's Tale? I loved it! Made me really want to read the book :)
And I'm from Denmark btw :) it's morning here too, it's 9.18
I'm from Austria and it's 9:33 for me right now :D No I haven't seen the tv show but I watched the movie of "the boy in the striped pajamas" and it made me cry (I barely cry because of movies) so I read the book kinda slow atm because I don't feel mentally ready for the end xD
I'm unemployed too rn. Well I just graduated and in a few months I might start university :D
Oh! :) Haha same for me, that movie is just cruel :(
What are you gonna study? I graduated from uni in January as a librarian, but still haven't found a job :/
Environmental Systems Science - Economics (I hope it will be great) :) I wanted to study Mediatechnology but they had too many applications or I would have also liked to study law but I don't think I'd be a good lawyer since I'm pretty shy xD
Oh! I'm not sure how it is in Austria, but here you need pretty good grades to be accepted because there are so many who wants to study law. Is it the same there? For many years I wanted to be a doctor, but I don't have the psychological health for that. Took me a long time to realize :),
May I ask what is your native language?
German you? :) Well here in Austria I think a lot of people study law too but I don't think it's limited in any way, you just need have graduated.
And I personally wanted to be a doctor too but I don't think I could deal with people dying because I made a mistake or couldn't help them

It's not limited like that, there are just too many people who applies, so they go with the ones with the best grades.
Yeah, that's true... That must be hard. Personally, I'd feel like I was having all the symptoms of the patients myself 🙄
Ohh yeah could be like that here too but I'm not fully informed 😄 I just arrived at home from a drive with the car 😅 atm I'm practicing for my driving license and it's so scary xD
Quite alright xD I'm still pretty scared but I guess I'm getting better :)
How long have you been training? :) My sister just got her license two months ago, it's so weird! Like, I remember her being born 😂 (I'm nine years older than her)
Aww :D I only had like 8 hours of driving so far with my teacher and two with my dad (but that was just at a parking lot) ☺️
As much as you need :) you can take as many as you want, most need around 20 ☺️

Is it worse than the movie? I just lay in my bed for an hour, but I couldn't fall asleep. Sigh.
I'm pretty tired too, probably because of the heat and during the holidays I don't do much xDWell to be honest I personally thought the movie was sadder. I cried watching it (I watched it twice and cried both times, and I normally don't cry alot because of books or movies) I didn't cry reading the book tho, I was sad but nothing more

Hi guys im currently on vacation and am reading a bit buy everything I finish I will post all at once when i get back.
It's already looking like fall here :( We literally didn't have a day with summer weather in all of July. They even said so in TV. So yeah.
Aww that's not good :/ even tho I personally prefer colder weather :D
I like the warmth, but it almost never gets more than 25 degrees. And it hasn't even been that much since June... I've been saying this since forever, but I really want to improve my German, just so I have a reason to get the German edition of the Silver series by Kerstin Gier
